Funhouse Pinball Problem (simple fix, driving me crazy)

Im having a ball through problem, took the apron off and its hitting the other 2 balls and rebounding back, tried putting more tension on the spring, and a few other things but still doing it most of the time. Im sure its a simple fix but driving me crazy. Am I missing a part ? ( I know Im going to feel embarrassed with whatever the fix is )

Heres the video ?

If I remember right isn't there supposed to be a gate there that only goes one direction? I have had this problem before with a fishtales... wish I remembered how I fixed it :( Sorry others will be more helpful.>

PS the REAL easy solution is to let me ship the game to my house then I'll... keep it. THANKS :)

Ok, whats your address ? :) Its driving me insane.. It does not look like there was ever a ball gate, but I guess its possible ?? anyone know for sure ?

It is missing the ball gate. Part Number 12-6542 You can get these at Pinball Resource, Marco and others. The gate lets the ball go into the trough, but not come back out. My WH2O & FH both had this same problem.

Thanks again Tom, did not feel like waiting so I made my own from a paper clip and its working great !! Found the broken one with part of it almost bridging the coil.. I knew it would be a simple fix :)

Here is a pic of the broken one and the two paper clip ones I made. I was not happy with the first one so I made one out of a thick paper clip

nice job on the recreation. The paperclip should hold up for a while, but if you can get some piano wire from a hardware store of from a pin parts place it will last for much longer.

I had my Bride of Pinbot for 10 years before I played one and found it was missing a very important one way gate. I used sheet metal and piano wire to recreate a new gate. It was a huge PITA to bend though.

Pinball Resource sells them for $1.36 each. I keep a running list of parts that are not urgently needed, that way when I place another order, I can order them too.

But for now, I would have done the same thing you did. Just make one!!

I did that one in about 2 minutes. The second paperclip was actually a thicker diameter than the original

Yeah, but the original part was made from stiffer wire. Even with a thicker diameter, the paper clip will not last as long. Still best to buy an original or make one from piano wire....
