Did anyone here snag these if the post was real? It said their father died and they were selling his games. $1000 each for funhouse and simpsons, and $500 for meteor cause it didn't work. They also had an elevator action and a galaga for $400 I believe.

Never heard back. Anyone get lucky?

I guess they posted this on CL but it was also flagged however my phone saves flagged ads so I still had a copy of it. It looks like they sold it to 1 person.

"The items for this ad were sold to a single buyer. We didn't know there would be this much volume of a response. For those whom we didn't respond to - sorry we didn't get to you but this buyer bought and moved everything really quickly. For those that wanted to know, I guess the Simpsons was the 1st pinball with that name Dataeast.

Mentioned some of the responses to the buyer and apparently some people must be real scumbags. A guy named Buck Horn offered $300 for our Funhouse and $600 for our Simpsons. Our buyer told us the real price of everything and we still gave him an extremely fair deal. I guess it doesn't pay to be honest anymore for some people. Also, whoever flagged our ad, I hope you feel proud of yourself. Our buyer said that was a trick only scumbag buyers would use. At least a scumbag didn't end up with all these games."

So who bought em? If Jay's Pinball did, they will be posted on CL for triple the price everyday now till Christmas starting tomorrow.

P.S. Hey Mike, who's knockers are those????

I saw them as well, and considered calling, but didn't have the time to go down and figured they would be long gone by the time I was available. I will find out from Jay if he got them, but I don't think he did or he probably would have called me and tried to sell them to me for more.

Dang I would have loved to have the funhouse and would have paid the $1000. It's one of my all time favorite pinball games. Of course I don't have the funds right now available anyhow.

Can't wait to see them pop up on CL or feebay for triple the prices.

How is the gameplay on a meteor?

Meteor looks like a fun game although I have never played one. I will say that there was an ad about a week ago that had a meteor for sale where the guy said he had to get rid of his toys to make a playroom for his kid. The guy said he had an offer for $300 and the guy was picking it up this Wednesday. Looked like he was fishing for a better offer, but I wasnt going to play that game. I spent my money on a set of pinscore displays for my Pinbot instead. :)

Meteor pinball

Hey that dude selling his Meteor sold it for 200.00 It needed a board and score display. I tried to buy it for 150 and he almost went for it.
