Funhouse display board - The entire top line (just the top line) on the top display was
flickering like it had a cracked solder joint. When you tapped on the
display it would come in and and out. Upon closer inspection, someone
had done a pretty ratty job of replacing the top display glass (bad
solder job, silicon to hold some stand-offs in place etc), and for the
likes of me I could not find which pin/trace was at fault. Now the
top line (not the whole top display) is just out. I lost patience with it 6 months ago, and
replaced the entire display board. I think with some patience someone can find the bad trace.

$50 shipped anywhere in the cont. US.

Any hints where the trace issue is (pic maybe)? I have the exact same problem on my funhouse (top line out bottom display)

Here's a bump for ya

well behind the glass and between the PCB and glass is pretty hard to reach let alone take a picture of. I wasn't intent on de soldering everything to clean it up. It's a pretty simple fix really and could probably be found by continuity checks on the solder joints through traces leading up to the glass. Just takes time and patience which I don't have much of!

The bad connection is probably at one of the pins just inside the glass. Think some people use a dremel tool and carefully cut the glass. Then you can re-solder. Have to be very careful though.
