Fun Chicken Club

Thank you Roy (bottlejunkie) for allowing me to be the buyer of your Fun Chicken. She's already making kids (and adults) clucking happy!

Glad to hear, your boy was working it over pretty good before I left LOL. I'm glad it went to a good home and someone who will appreciate it.

Not mine, but just linking this CL thread here:

(Fun Chicken for sale in FL, for anyone interested.)

https://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=420746

that is a real fine example of a Fun Chicken, the colors seem bight(though I think the original chicken is yellow/brown) and the cab seems in good shape though filling it with an additional 1200 filled eggs is going to cost so that should factor. I'd offer $300 and hoped they would take it though your going to spend around $150-$200 filling it, I did.

Is this still a club? Just picked this up last night. Looks like I'm missing the coin mech switch. Someone put in a toggle switch and when you push in the mech the game just keeps running, until you pull it out.

that's nicer than the one I had, I miss mine a lot and regret selling it but I moved into an apartment with no extra space(except for my playchoice which will never leave). If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it?

$250 as is. Tons of eggs, about 1/3 filled with crappy prizes.
I'm having some issues tho.
I have the wrong switch in there. Do you know where I can get the right one?

I have to sort the wiring out, but it does work, but just on/off. I dont think the optical board is hooked up properly.

If the op board isn't working right it wouldn't dispense eggs properly but I thought you said it was, what makes you think the board isn't working right? Sourcing parts for these is difficult, does yours have the wiring diagram on the inside of the door? If not I think I posted mine somewhere in this thread.

It's working. However I have the wrong switch. It's just on or off. On just keeps dispensing eggs till you shut it off.
That switch on Ebay would solve my issue but not for $50!

It's best offer so offer $40? You need one it seems and like I said sourcing these parts can be difficult.

Since you got it at a reasonable price you can stand to put a couple bucks into it, that's a really nice chicken I would love to have it.

This is still my current phone wallpaper, damn it now I want another chicken!

Joined the club last night and my kids have been dancing like chickens since! I plan on spending a little time cleaning it up and painting it the correct colors, for now it's working 100%. Now to fill it up.

I paid $100 and it came with about 200 eggs w/ toys, It wasn't working other than the fluorescent light. There was a solenoid that actuated two leaf switches and the support had broken luckily I was able to use a zip tie to hold it in place(kinda like wico leaf joysticks sometimes could use a zip tie), clucking sound was constant after I fixed the solenoid but went away after excersizing the two pots(one for volume the other for pitch of cluck). This unit doesn't come with the opto pcb, it uses a micro switch to sense the egg drop which can easily be held up from the drop chute and allow you to clean out the machine for 25c. I'm not sure who manufactured mine, maybe an early run by M.H.I.? All I can find as far as any documentation is all about the M.H.I. Units with the opto pcb and relay, this style seems to be older. I've also noticed that there is a position to install a cam lock on the left side of the machine to access the eggs while my unit has a lock installed in the top center of the removable access panel. Now I need to place an order with aaglobal.
