KARL'S ANNUAL ARCADE PARTY & FOOD DONATION DRIVE
Saturday NOVEMBER 14TH, starts @ 3pm, goes all night.

Come visit the housecade in Buckley, WA... An hour from Seattle, about 15 minutes East of Puyallup.
RSVP by PM'ing or emailing me for address and directions.
Bring the kids, friends, wife or girlfriend, everyone will find a favorite game!
If you're planning on going, please let me know how many people you're bringing along so I can plan supplies...

The only thing I please ask you to bring is some canned & non-perishable food donations.
Dig thru your cupboards and pantries to clear some unused clutter and feed the hungry.
I'm collecting food for my Thanksgiving donation to the Buckley food bank,
my goal is to bring in over 1000 items this year and I can't do it without your help!!

Plus or minus three dozen arcade & pinball machines will be turned on and set for freeplay.
The Wurlitzer jukebox will be playing hit vinyl records of oldschool classic bands.
Hotdogs, Sodapop and popcorn will be available to snack on.

Karl,

You know I'm gonna try to be there... unless there is some sort of blizzard... then I will make it! :D

I did not know you did this to help your food drive too, but it is a very nice idea and a great thing to do!! Get that Black Hole going!!!

Karl - always trying to one-up everyone. "OOOOhhhh not only am I having a party with the 40+ games in my house (I'm sooooo coooool!) but I am going to feed the homeless as well!"

Next he is going to tell us that he has been employing a family of legal Guatamalans at his house, teaching them to read and work on games, while visiting the Sisters at the hospital, donating his time by reading to poor, unfortunate burn victims and cancer stricken children, all while donating his blood and making plans for the displacement of his organs should anything unfortunate happen to him. Of course, he can only do this when he is not bathing lepers and rescuing orphaned animals and nursing them back to health.

F&$%ing do-gooder.

I'll be there.

NO SMILEY FOR YOU!!!!

winkey instead ;)

:D ROFLMAO!!

I collect the food regardless every year... I use an arcade party (which I would have anyways) as a good excuse to get people to bring food to me so I'm not driving all over the state collecting 5 cans at a time here and there.

Everyone whines that nobody has any parties around here, yet when there is most everyone misses the date. I don't whine about it, but do feel bad that I swamp myself and forget parties that other people are having.

I figure one big giant party for the game nerds every year, they probably couldn't breathe in here with all the potheads of my normal non-gamer friends that come to visit my other parties! :)

bump for Karl. and i'll be there, just later than i want to be. work made me an offer i couldn't refuse [especially in light of all my recent arcade-related purchases] so it'll be 9 pm or after for me.

i suppose i can bring extra food to help make up for my lateness.

Great, as always looking forward to hanging out again big T! LOL, you better bring a few pounds extra of food if you're coming that late! ;) We'll be partying until late, near midnight give or take I suspect...

Also a few of the games have recovered from being under the knife...

BLACK HOLE PINBALL!!, Neo Geo, and Missile for starters... Moon Patrol is looking promising...
Some of the other games on the operating on list are just buried in the garage and will not be setup or plugged in.

ALSO WILD KINGDOM WILL BE FOR SALE, SPACE INVADERS, AND A FEW OTHERS IN THE GARAGE... I'M OUT OF CASH, OWE MONEY AND HAVE A GROWING LIST OF BILLS AND A SHRINKING AMOUNT OF SPACE TO GET ANYTHING DONE OUT THERE.

I've been organizing the games in the house better and actually have 3ft. walkways in most areas!
