I am going to go to Sacramento for Dan's arcade party on the 21st, and it just didn't seem right to try to go down there without trying to haul a game or two.

No real need to trade these, but they are games that I can live without. If you have any games you don't play much anymore, and want to talk about a trade, let me know.

These are the games on the trading block:

Dig Dug - Heavy Road Blasters burn, and takes a while for the monitor to warm up, but otherwise nice. There is a small hole drilled near the start buttons on the CP - not sure what that could have been for.

SOLD - Targ - Not great, but working. One of the switches on the stick is questionable, but I haven't got around to replacing it yet.

DECIDED TO KEEP FOR NOW - Afterburner - I got the monitor working right, so I want to play it for a while. It is an Afterburner cab, but the board is Afterburner II.

SOLD - Donkey Kong Jr. Game plays great and monitor works great, but the cab is pretty beat up. When I first tried sliding it into position in the garage, the base collapsed (It is being held up by DK on the left and DK3 on the right right now :) ). The cab can be rebuilt probably pretty easily, but I don't really care for that work. I have another board that just needs a prom. I have the prom, but just need to find a burner that will burn it. I would also be open to trading a DK Jr board for a nice nintendo cab.

Fireball Classic Pin - Needs to be shopped, but it plays fine.

Triple Action Pin - Kinda rough. Works, but the bonus sticks, so the scores can get out of control. I just haven't had time to try to mess with the million switches that are in there.

Edit: Adding a Vectrex to the list. It works fine, but the main fire button is a little picky about how you push it. It works fine for me, but other people have a hard time with it. I think they are pushing too hard, but it probably needs a new contact.

I might post this one for sale too. I haven't touched it in a while, so it needs a new home.

I will try to get pics of it today. You can see it on Brent's site, but I will try to get more detailed pics: http://www.brentradio.com/JackDanielsBARcade.htm. I really want a Pinbot, but let me know what you have. If I trade this one, I would like to get another pin. If you have a pin that is worth more that I like, I could trade some of the other stuff with it. My plan is to eventually end up with 3 pins that I really like. I have High Speed, and want Pinbot and STTNG. The latter will probably be out of my budget for a while. My girlfriend really wants a Bride of Pinbot as well.

Are you sure there will be an arcade party May 21st? I thought that's supposed to be the end of the world.:D

No, thats just when Jesus comes back to start making his list. I think the people said October is when he will blow the world up? I'm not up to speed on the latest.

If Jesus wants to stop by and play some games when he takes a break from list making he's more than welcome too. I'll save a beer for him too.

Just one bump in case someone wants to trade. After Tuesday, if no trades are set up by Tuesday, I am just going to bring the little car to save gas. IF multiple trades are set up, I will need to get a truck, so I would need to know probably by Tuesday anyway.

If anyone wants to buy one of the listed games, make an offer. I have added up the money I need to buy CPOs and Marquees for the other games, and I will probably have to sell a couple of games to do it.

Thanks

Interested in the DK Jr. upright

Hello,

I am planning on going to Dan's party next weekend also. Actually, my house is just around the corner from his - I can walk there in about 5 minutes! I met him a few months back, but only talked in the driveway and saw the garage full of projects. I'm looking forward to seeing his collection and get to meet some more collectors.

I am interested in your DK Jr. upright, do you have any pics that you can send me?

I started collecting about 3 years ago, none of my collection is super mint, I mostly want games that I can have fun playing and maybe some later date try to do some restoration. I'm not sure what other games you are looking to trade for, but I have a couple to choose from that you might be interested in.

I have a Space Invaders Cocktail in decent shape that everything seems to be working properly. I have an Arabian upright made by Atari. I have a project Monaco GP cabaret that I have started getting parts for, but needs quite a bit more.

Let me know if you might be interested in a trade, if not no problem.

See you at Dan's!

Thanks,

Kris

Hi Kris

Sorry, I am not interested in those 3 games. I had an SI cocktail, and I just never played it. It was popular with everyone else, but SI just doesn't do it for me anymore. My girlfriend wants one again, but she didn't offer to keep it in the house. :)

Thanks,
Paul

I will be there, looking forward to it!

Hope it's not raining....

Here are some pics as requested:
Donkey Kong Jr. Remember, the base is trashed, so it is being held up by the other two games.
I don't think there is any side art, but I think the sides are orange. Plays great and the
monitor looks nice.
