FT/S: Dedicated Mortal Kombat 4 machine....Excellent condition....Price Check?

Looking to trade the last of my MK machines. I had kept this one as it was the hardest for me to get. I can only find one on Ebay, but it's ridiculously priced ($1,500).

I'm looking to trade it for a similarly mint dedicated NFL Blitz 2000: Gold Edition or NFL Blitz 2000/NBA combo

Thanks

For a dedicated? It's a $500-600 machine. The board alone goes for $200 or more sometimes.

Just because the gameplay is not great does mean the VALUE is lower.

The game in the cabinet matters to me when buying a game.

MK3 is on my want list and whether or not it was dedicated or not I would only give $400-$500 for it, not because that is what it is worth, but what it is worth to me.

The buyer determines value in my opinion.

I got lucky and got mine for 300.00 on craigslist in near mint condition but from the auctions ive seen on ebay depending on the location of the game is between 350.00-700.00.

MK4 is easily the worst one... I'd buy one just to change back into a UMK3... a game I will be looking to buy forever.

I like mk4 a lil bit (my kids play it more than me) but it is definatly my least favorite. But i got it because i wanted the complete dedicated collection. Now if i could just find an original mk i would have them all.

$400 - no more.

MK4 is the worst out of the series.

I'd agree with AMR, $400 is price I would expect to pay for one.

Not to derail this thread too much but I found this cab at an operator's place a few years ago. It was a dedicated MK4 cab converted to Soul Calibur. After peeling off all the Soul Calibur control panel stickers I made a startling discovery. Someone first converted this MK4 to an MK3 and then to Soul Calibur!! How weird is that?

MKII is by far my favorite, so I slapped on the MKII marquee and rewired the cab for a MKII pcb I already had. I call it my hodgepodge MK cab...

As stated a Rev3 board alone runs around $200 now. Regardless if its some people's least favorite there is someone out there that feels its their most favorite.

If the cab is in great shape I say $400-500.

I bought one for $195 (i think i got a great deal) I turned it around and sold it for $400 without too much of a problem.

I think you'll get $400-$500 for it... I wouldn't pay it, but its a big nice cab with a big monitor and name recognition...

i agree with everyone else, not the funnest MK, but still cool.

Like I said - it's the worst of the series and least popular. $400 - max.

You can't value a game as a whole by quoting what the parts go for. A whole game is [almost] never worth as much as the sum of the parts.

Sell off the board, control panel, harnesses, and the huge monitor and you might be able to get over $400 - but I highly doubt it.

And I'm not, was stating the board itself has increased to an avg of $200.

Regardless of parts value I said 400-500 based off the condition of the cab as described by the op.
