Haven't seen one of these come up for sale/trade in a long time. When I found this one in the back of a shed, the cabinet completely fell apart when we went to move it. Thankfully the monitor was missing, or it most likely would've been lying on the pcb, when we tipped the cab to roll it, the bottom completely fell out leaving the board set and transformer on the ground!

The cab has been completely rebuilt and looks perfect. New art from TOG and PA, new switching ps adapter. Game works perfectly, pcb was gone over by Chris Jumper.

Looking to trade for a dedicated Alien Syndrome plus cash (possibly other uncommon games that aren't in my VAPS) , or feel free to make me a straight cash offer. Will work with your shipper, but will not be able to pallet or deliver anywhere.

Sorry for sideways pics!

Damn. I love this game.

I'm not even sure what to offer for it though. I know Tapper prices are insane lately.

Good lord that is gorgeous. I've only seen one for sale here in the year and a half I've been here. They're more rare than a Tapper by far.

Someone's going to be very lucky and happy with this purchase/trade. Good luck on the sale!

Is the cabinet the original cabinet and it was rebuilt or is it a new cabinet? Please give more detail as to what was done to the cabinet that completely fell apart.

Starting point (if not listed on eBay, CL, or KLOV) is always the infamous exidy price guide!

Timber - dedicated upright game $1500-$2500+-. Collector price.

Obviously that's just a mere suggestion. But a good one. Sell yours for $3000, $4000,
I don't care... At least, the very least, it's a starting point. Supply vs demand mofos! :)

Beautiful game, I wish I had a game to trade on your list. One of my most wanted games.

Mikehoss1414 it's absolutely awesome that you chose to restore this game. Now you are offering it up in a collector's community. It's a game that easily could have ended up gone forever.

I personally like the gameplay of Timber over Tapper but how great would it look with both in someone's collection?!

Great job with the restoration and good luck on your sale.

this is what happened on my end on this...very strange messages...

i made a significant offer.

seller accepted, said we have a deal.

i come back, he says he spoke too soon, now someone has a trade for an alien syndrome he wants and cash, so our deal is done.

then he comes back again, says the alien syndrome guy doesn't want to deal with shipping and he will sell it to me...for 200 more than what he agreed to sell to me before. he said someone else offered him 500 more but he will accept my offer for 200 more...gives me his paypal info...mind you i have not responded to this message..

sends me another message, said he isn't selling it at this time because he scratched up the art....

so i can just imagine if i DID pay for it how things would be right now...sheesh...

i mean, all i wanted was a timber...i don't understand how you make a deal with someone, then they rescind then they want more money, then change mind again??...this is the second person in the past two months who has backed out of a deal from this forum...

Sounded unclear how much of the original cab was left, maybe it was a blessing in disguise.

This is the problem with mmao/silent auction crap here. Put a frickin price on it or put the damn thing on ebay. I really wish posting a price was forum policy.

Well said. I'm very interested in a Timber but avoided making an offer because when people do the whole MMAO / silent auction thing it never goes well.

This is the type of high dollar deal both sides need to come together smoothly to make work. If what DreamTR said is what went down he may have dodged a bullet.

Also with an uncommon game like this all the pricing data remains a mystery. Even the accepted first offer price wasn't disclosed.

The secrecy doesn't help the community form an opinion on pricing.
