Helping a buddy sell his Wrestlefest. It's in good shape with a freshly recapped monitor.

Actually. It needs joysticks.

Make an offer?

Located in Hollywood...

That is it, yes.

As I said, it will need new joysticks. We we're going to MAME it and the joysticks were tired so we pitched them.

if you are going the mame route I do have a few 37" CRT Mutil sync monitors. The screen will display almost anything you throw at it from standard to VGA. I am getting custom cabinets made for them.

Does the monitor have screen burn? Does the Board pass the diagnostic test?

I'll get back to you on the screen burn...

We got it home and it played fine. That was about 4 years ago. The board was disconnected shortly after so I can't imagine anything went wrong unless due to sitting unused.

Sometime you have to give a low ball price, Bad and missing parts, bad Motherboard, burn screen, water damage, No picutre of the item and or bad or missing art work. It's hard to put a vaule on an item unseen and In unknow condition. This could be a great find or it could be one of those projects that you put in so much money and time into it would have been better off buying another unit.

No offense to the person who is selling this unit. The things I mention do not reflect the condition or the quaity of the game that was posted.

These are just some of the factors I think about before putting an honest offer on an item I am looking at.

Yeah I hear ya.

Just throwing it up here. I'm heading over tomorrow to snap some pics.

The PCB worked perfectly when disconnected and the screen had zero burn-in.

I will confirm everything tomorrow and post pics.

I believe he wants $400 for it.

Thanks

I believe he wants $400 for it.

Thanks

Wrestlefest is a $250-$275 game IMHO. I sold a working PCB for $35 last year. I grew up a huge WWF fan, and played that game all the time at Pizza Hut in Morgan Hill as a kid so I'd love having one in the game room, but they aren't an easy sell.

Pics!

No burn-in!

I was mistaken. There are 4 joysticks. Two of them are 4-8 way switchable from Ultimarc, two are standard Wrestlefest sticks.

It has a MAME computer hooked up with a J-pac and I-pac. I can include it or pull it.

The monitor was recapped about a year ago. Hasn't been played very much since.

Taking offers without the MAME gear. Offer more if you'd like that.

With some dialing in, this could be a sweet 4 player MAME machine, a 4 player JAMMA machine or a straight up Wrestlefest.

Thanks!

Wrestlefest is an odd game in that I've seen the PCB sell for as low as $20 and as high at $85 or more. I guess it's all about finding the right buyer willing to pay the right price.
