Dare I say "rare" working Eliminator for sale. I would prefer this game be picked up but will ship if needed. As a last resort I could possibly haul it to the CAX show.

Cabinet : Cab has some moisture damage but could be sanded and refinished with new wood grain. The back door was missing , it has a replacement door made from an Omega Race for now. One of the top rear corners is broken but repairable ( see my Tempest thread ) or you could play the game as is and look for a better cabinet. The value here is in the working G08 and electronics. The overlay has some cracking but the colors are nice and bright. The marquee is in nice shape with one small spec of red missing in one spot. The bezel looks original but for some reason was painted over.

Electronics : The monitor was capped and the 45 volt mod at the transformer per Mongo's faq was done to it too. The mod is here :

The game plays great. Sound works and the fan works. The game is missing one of the red ejectors on the coin door and some mech parts on that side are gone too.

This game can be enjoyed as is or restored.

asking $550

I was asked how sturdy the cabinet feels and the answer to that is very sturdy. This cabinet was not waterlogged and feels solid as you move it around and play it. This is a repairable cabinet.

Is the game primarily a 2-player game or is it fun 1 player? I may have to check it out in MAME but vectors suck in MAME...

yeah, unfortunately the price gets just too high. gas would be close to $200 for me plus a very long day to drive out and back or a hotel added on.

i'm surprised one of the California guys doesn't jump on the chance to have it delivered to CAX.

Hey guys...thats a great deal...that monitor is worth $450 alone....working boardset $175, working power supply $75....even if you have to wait until better cabinet comes along...but that cabinet could be made like new again with bondo and lots of love! Todd
