Board is sold.

Original board boots up and goes into attract mode on my Space Duel CT. Also able to get things to move around by hitting various buttons as the controls aren't the same. Has new game EPROMs installed.

what does it take to play that in a space duel cab?
Obviously the control panel, is there an adaptor, or do you need the entire
wiring harness?
thanks

I'm not a conversion expert, but I think it's a control panel change with some additional wiring? you don't need a new harness, from what I understand. I can get some things to happen by hitting some buttons, etc.

I'm sure one of the folks that is better versed in the game knows.

Black Widow PCB

I would love to play Space Duel out of my Gravitar, or even Black widow..............plug and play.............anyone make adaptors and / or harnesses? i would buy a control panel and pcb if it was possible.

Back in the late 90's I had a SD that I was running SD, BW, GR, and MH out of using the SD harness and a number or control panel adapters with (IIRC) 24 pin on one side and 16 pin connectors on the other side that allows me to plug and chug with the factory control panels for each game.. I'd swap in the board, CP and marquee and leave the cabinet run that particular game for a spell and then swap it out and put in another game...

Is that section of harnss only required for controls? I ask because the boards boot up and run fine in the Space Duel.

Yes. But the pinouts are made for gravitar as well as the extra added wires needed. You could probably do it in a SD cab but would need to remove and rewire a bunch of pins. If you had both manuals to compare it could be done.

I have a SD running BW. The BW board just plugs in the same as the SD board did, no changes. Instead of making an adapter for the BW CP, I just rearranged the pins in the CP connector so it directly plugs into the SD harness.

I have another SD that will run G. Just swap the board, then there's a short 6" long CP adapter that I stick between the standard SD CP plug and the game harness plug. All the adapter does is rearrange the CP wires so that the SD RED player buttons play G.

I can provide a sketch of the CP adapter for G (to play on SD CP) or a sketch to show how to wire the BW CP to plug into SD harness.

Last bump before eBay.

Take both the Black Widow and the Space Duel for $220 shipped in USA!

I'll take the Black Widow PCB. DONE. Maybe we can meet up or you can give it to Brian or someone.

Now, where can I get a control panel and marquee?? :)
