I have a working upright 19" monitor that I tested yesterday and it works great. There is some slight burn-in that is visible when it is off but will not affect viewing when on. I would prefer a local deal but might be convinced to ship via UPS (at additional cost). Price is $150. excluding shipping. Email me directly at [email protected] if interested.

Let me know if you just need the boards (deflection or high voltage) and I will part out. Each board is $75 plus shipping. Email me directly at [email protected] if interested. If you want both boards, price is $140. plus shipping.

Asteroids questions

Hi,

I have had a Asteroid machine for years that has worked perfectly. Ocassionally while playing it the display would "grow and fade out" but the sound and the game itself still played.

Like I saw my father (and Fonzie) do many times... if you gave it a whack on the side of the cabinet it would come back and work fine...But as time went on that doesn't work anymore.Ocassionally you get some video on the monitor to show but it doesn't last for long... Any ideas??

Resolder header pins on all boards and check that the HV diode is making good contact.

Monitor

Chad,

I do have Jay from RI & Tom from Boston planning on coming sometime soon to New Britain. Are they anywhere near you? How close are you to Holyoke? Email me directly at [email protected] & we'll work something out.

Monitor ID

I have no clue. I am not the x-y expert. I bet the labels on the chassis are missing that would help. It is a Wells-Gardner serial number 968954 unit and has (1) 12-pin (4 x 3) connector. If you really need pics or more info., email me directly at [email protected]

Monitor

Was hoping to hear from Chad or some others on this complete monitor or the boards only. Maybe everyone is out drinking since it is Friday night. Whoever can pay first, gets it.
