Learned something new today (or else I forgot over the years doing this hobby). I picked up an original upright Midway Galaxian today that someone converted to a Ms. Pac. I thought it seemed heavy for a Midway & then noticed the monitor was way too big for a standard 19". I assume it is the original monitor that this Galaxian came with and seems to be a 25" (forgot to measure the monitor but I am sure you can tell by the model number). The tube has a label on the front that says Midway 1979 & the chassis is an Electrohome G02724 from 1979. I can't believe but it has very, very little burn-in and works. The focus is off and I am not sure where the pot is; there are a ton of pots on this chassis & like I said, I have never seen one like this.

I am not going to use this monitor & am selling it (local sale only). Price is $100. or I am open to a trade for parts I could use for multi restorations. Email me directly at [email protected] if you are interested.

Thanks,

Vic S. (in CT)

Yep- the old Electrohome G02.

My Galaxian came with one and I was so proud of it until it smoked out one day.. alas.

If I were a Connecticut boy, I'd take it.
Being a South Carolina boy and no shipping, I guess I won't.

Think of me if you want to ship.

25" Electrohome Monitor

Looks like no takers locally to CT. Let me know if you want me to ship this complete monitor & we can woork out the details. Email me directly at [email protected] if interested. Would still love to make a local deal to minimize the work involved. Make an offer if local.

25" Monitor

This has already been converted by someone else to a Ms. Pac-Man (in a Galaxian cabinet). I will be making it into a multi sometime in the near future.

Electrohome 25" Monitor - Price Reduced

Local pickup (or Allentown, PA show delivery) price reduced to $70. for this working 25" monitor. I have a pic of the screen working with the Ms. Pac board. Sides have Galaxian side art still with contact cement (from the laminate that was previously applied to the cabinet but has now been removed). For sale is the complete, working monitor only.

Really seems a shame to break it up.

Galaxian 25"

I install new electronics in my multi's (power supply, harness, pc board & monitor); that is why I am not going to use the original monitor. I do not like (free) service calls.

25" Monitor

This is still available. I thought someone wanted the chassis, took it out of the game for pics for him, but never came though with the purchase. I also removed the tube / mounting brackets from the game.

Anyone local to CT need this?? Make me an offer - it does work.

I've heard people say they weren't impressed having a 25" monitor in the Galaga/Ms Pac Reunion cabs. Has anyone played a Galaxian with that original 25" monitor? Just curious if adds anything or hurts it at all.
