FS - Williams metal pcb mounting plates (Joust, etc)

UPDATE - Both plates are sold!

For sale - one Williams metal pcb mounting plate that was used in games such as Joust, Robotron, etc.

buy it for $15 + actual shipping USPS parcel post

PM me if you want it. Include your zip code so that I can estimate shipping.

ADDED NOTES - I didn't write the game names on these. As pointed out below, the one with "Defender" written on it is almost certainly not from a Defender. These should work for Joust, Robotron, Stargate, and Bubbles.

If your going to trash them, would you sell them to me for what the shipping would coast to get it to me?
Would probably guess that shipping shouldn't be any higer than $13-$14 bucks.
Beats just trashing them.

Just an FYI......those will not work for Defender. They will fit Joust, Robotron, Stargate, and Bubbles. I'm not for sure on Sinistar.

I have one from a Defender cocktail that I would happily send to someone for the cost of shipping. I shipped the PCBs to the UK and the plate was left behind to save on shipping across 'the pond'.

+1

It pays (or saves) to look and check first. Back when I was looking for a set for my Robotron, one of them didn't line up with at least one of the boards.

Look at the pictures of the screw holes. If you can't visualize your boardset there, it won't fit. Didn't some of these Williams games have a mounting plate for the soundboard and power supply board too?

If you can't be bothered to send me a PM (as requested in the original post), I figure that you don't really need them...

If you can't be bothered to at least offer me some beer money in exchange for the hassle of packing them and taking them to the post office, I figure that you don't really need them...

And yes, these are large, steel, and hefty.

Someone either needs one for de-converting a Williams cabinet, or they're just scrap metal.

Yep! The Defender upright metal plate is huge. It holds all the boards (CPU, ROM, sound, interface, and the volumn pot) except for the power supply board.

The plates pictured hold the CPU, ROM, and interface board for Joust, Robotron, Bubbles, and Stargate. These four games and Sinistar have a second plate that holds the sound board, power supply board, and the power supply heat sink.

The pictured plates (might) work for a Defender cocktail....I can't remember.

Sinistar has a extra speech board that connects to the sound board.........

Yeah, It's been awhile since I've been inside a Sinistar. The sound and speech boards mount to an additional (different) metal plate.....but the interface board is also larger.
