FS: Williams EM Pit Stop Project Pin (York, SC) $125

Figured since you can't change titles, I'd start a new thread with the updated price. I picked this up a few months ago. I had every intention of adding it to my collection. I've been trying to get it going for months now, but to no avail. Since then I picked up another pin, that I've been able to fix and now I have no room for this one. It's missing a backglass, but is complete otherwise. It's a clean machine, with an awesome playfield.

I've done:
Waxed and cleaned playfield
New Rubbers
Body Stripped down, repainted, and clearcoated
Most contacts cleaned
Resoldered a few loose connections
New flipper bushings

As it sits now, it's in my backroom. I'm including the manual and schematic and some playfield pop bumper plastics I have yet to install. Here is the flickr photoset showing the work I've done.

I'm home all week, so feel free to stop by and take a look. It's a nice machine, that needs an EM guy to get working. It has no mice/pet damage, and the wiring hasn't been exposed to any hack jobs. It's really just a little work away from being a nice machine. I'm asking $125

Again it's entirely complete minus the backglass, bolts to hold the backbox in place, and a few twist nails for the side rails. I need it gone. I'll include the paint and some extra score reels for parts too.

I'd be jumping all over that, but I'm not close enough to pick it up. :(

You have an awesome price, IMO.

Holy flippin' cow!
After spending 12 hours on the road earlier in the week for an arcade related haul, I cannot justify, in my mind, to trek even further. But FMGWACS! That $ cannot be beat for a cab that looks like that!!!

How far away are you from Waxhaw, NC?

About an hour away from Waxhaw. I actually had an offer on this last night, so as of right now I do have a sale pending finally. The paint, extra parts, rubbers, manual and schematic, all alone cost me more than $110. Anyway, I'll update this thread accordingly. I think the lack of a back glass is really what kills this.

Ok, well I hope it works out for you, although you are certainly losing your ...:001_ssad:

My brother lives in Waxhaw, so I could possibly work something out, but he doesn't own a truck.
Tough economy I suppose. The lack of backglass can be cured, doesn't deter me. The miles do though..

If only in PA

Bump for you. Still can't get over how this one. Why can't I ever find a "project" pin like this in Pennsylvania.

Pit Stop looks like a pretty cool pin.

2 Cases of this and you have a deal.

It's gotta be the big bottle.

I have a manual for it if the new owner needs one. I owned this machine in the past. It was a decent player. Not sure how tough a backglass would be to locate.

The original manual and schematic are included. Which reminds me... I need to scan the schematic too, in case someone else needs it after I've sold it. One of these actually popped up in a local Craigslist a month or so ago. I don't think it was fully working and they were asking $700 for it.

as nice as your machine is and it looks really nice & clean, without the back glass it will be really tough to sell at any price, but you already know this

maybe if you could find a back glass some wheres ???
