FS: Wells Gardner 19K6100 extension cables (Osceola, WI)

My Star Wars upright has a 6100 in it, and the harness that plugs in the monitor was very tight. I was afraid that the tension in the cable would eventually damage the solder joints on the deflection board. I needed to make an extension cable to get some slack. Plus, I wanted to put my molex plug back into the frame mounted bracket.

Why make 1 when you can make 3, right?

So I have 2 spare extension cables left. These have been hand made by me, using my crimp tool. There's no rhyme or reason to the wire colors - I just used what I had available to me at the time. The harness is wrapped in plastic cable guide I reclaimed from an auto harness. Each one is about 15" in length. More than enough room to relieve the tension on your 6100.

$15 each shipped to you.

Pm sent. I'll be polite and only take one to leave the other for someone else.

Wow, lots of interest here.

I believe these are spoken for ATM, but if this kind of interest keeps up, I'll grab parts and make a few more. :)

I tried reaching Mark for them, but he's AWOL right now, so that's why I made them.

These have both been bought, paid for, and shipped.

If there's enough interest out there, I'd be willing to make more of these. It seems that there's no real easy way to get something like, this, so I'd be willing to contribute and make more for the community if needed.

Just respond here in the thread if you want one, and I'll keep a running tally.

I could use one, but the yellow wire already pulled on mine, i was just going to extend the 4 tought wires and forget the connector mount

but i might want one if you do another run (maybe a longer one?)

Thanks for supplying these to 2 who needed em

Longer? 15" isn't long enough?

By my measurements, just 5-6" should have given enough room to move the chassis connector to the frame mount and plug the game board harness in. I went an extra 10" to allow for cable clamps and moving wires around.

If my cab wasn't butted up against the wall again, I'd shoot some pics of what I mean. Maybe one of you other guys could snap a pic quick.

Okay, it's been more than a month, so instead of trying to track down the members who are still interested in another one of these, I'll bump this thread instead.

kray37 and sfbaybeef, you two are tops on the list in that order, if either one of you responds to my PM with payment before tomorrow night, then you get one.

Anyone else interested in one of these, shoot me a PM and I'll get you on the build list.

Here's the latest one. Again, no rhyme or reason to the wire colors here, just using what I have available to me. Same goes for the cable managment - it might be side-entry, it might be sprial wrap (like this one) or it could be mesh. It's just whatever I can scab from the junk bins at work.

Each one does get tested for fit and continuity before going out however. I'm getting really good at crimping now, so each one gets better than the last.
