FS/FT: Vs. Unisystem Conversion w/ Vs. RBI Baseball - SF Bay Area

I need to make room in my small game room for possibly another game. I recently (and unexpectedly) picked up a red tent and don't feel the need to have two Vs. systems (three if you count the red tent as two). Sorry in advance if this is a long listing, but I want to be as detailed as possible.

I feel bad letting this one go since I just spent a good amount of time restoring the cabinet so I could house Vs. The Goonies, but I can live without it. It is a DK Jr. to Vs. Unisystem conversion and is particle board, not solid wood except for the base which I rebuilt out of oak. Filled, sanded and repainted the whole cab including the coin door and top marquee bracket. Brand new Asahi Seiko coin face plates. The T-molding is the original offset with gouges and scratches here and there, but I cleaned it up as much as I could. You can see what work went into the cabinet on my restoration thread: http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=116907

I'll be keeping the Vs. Goonies PCB and marquee that I restored it for, but will be including a complete Vs. RBI Baseball PCB (Video of it running). I'll also include a Vs. Hogan's Alley marquee for you to use. A variety of Vs. marquees are readily available online if you'd rather have RBI Baseball or whatever Vs. game you choose to put in it. It has NOS side art applied. The CP is clean and the only buttons that are not original are the 1P and 2P buttons. The monitor is in good working condition with no vertical collapse or lines, but could eventually use a cap kit if you want it completely bright and clean. The bezel is in good condition overall with a few scratches.

Asking $300. I would also consider a trade and I'm open to offers. I will not part it and would rather sell locally, but if you want it shipped through a service provider, I'm willing to work with them to pick up the game though they will be responsible for wrapping and/or palleting the game.

Here's a picture from the restoration thread:

great great price. come down to savannah with and I'll put you up for st. patricks day.

Jess, GTFOH! You just restored this bad-boy, to the fullest! Made it look very unique, by housing Vs Goonies, with the kick-ass TOG keys! Pimped it out with the Goonies figurines. Had it for, what, a month? Now it's to the curb? Love 'em and leave 'em, huh Mr Simmons?!?

Man-o-man! Reminds me of Mouth: "......This one is mine! This was my wish. My dream! And it didn't come true. So now, I'm taking it back! I'm taking 'em all back!"

Reconsider, bro. Reconsider.

I know. But I just can't justify having multiple Vs. systems and I do need the room as I have opportunities to pick up another game or two from my youth that I would also appreciate. The red tent is here to stay. The way I see it, if I keep this cab, I'm pretty much maxed out. I still have the Goonies kit if someday we move into a bigger place and I can find another Nintendo cab and make it again. The restoring part is no big deal to me. It takes time, but I enjoy it and I love seeing the end result. Who knows, if no one is interested, I keep it and I'm still happy. Just gotta find ways to make room if other opportunities present themselves.

Just playin, bro! I thought for sure you'd give the cab to your daughter, Cyndi. Maybe put it in her nursery. But you are right: The Red Tent is here to stay! I own a Dual cab and so does Bongo Ben. I know we wouldnt get rid of ours. Make sure you get Balloon Fight for the Tent tho! It's a must.

Good luck with the sale. Folks: Jess is a good dude. Help the new dad out! :)
