Complete Varth kit for sale. $150 plus shipping (1 box for panel/1 box for all else).

Kit includes the following:
- PCB working 100%

- Cut-corner cp with new overlay printed by Rich @ ThisOldGame
The cp will include the sticks and red/blue buttons only. I need to keep the wiring harness/leafs/leaf holders and P1/P2 buttons.

- Bezel (has some warping under the monitor where it says Romstar, but not too bad. Never got around to trying to flatten it 100%.)

- Marquee

I'm going to be selling similar, but lower priced kits for Ikari Warriors and Caliber .50 in the near future, so shoot me a PM if you're interested in either of those.

Varth

I wanted to wait until this sold to chime in. I dont hear much about this one. Is it a good game? Good replay value? I have a working PCB that I was going to list. Was not sure what the value was though.

It's very much like Raiden if that gives you an idea. I first played it in MAME, and liked it so much I tracked down all the parts for the kit (bezel and cp scan being the hardest to track down).

Here's a review I found on it awhile back: http://www.shmups.com/reviews/varth/index.html

The one thing I don't like about it is it doesn't save high scores.

If there was a thread here on KLOV involving the best shoot 'em ups, you can be sure that Exidy or myself chimed in with Varth. That's why I'm glad he bought the kit.

I've seen the PCB go for $125+, but I would ballpark value it at about $100. I've seen it go for as low as $60 though.

Just my 2 cents.
