Got a real bad vibe from people in PMs when i put this up so I just forgot about it.
That doesn't surprise me. Thing about being a 'vendor' here is that you need to build some street cred first. Become a member, participate in some conversation threads, offer some helpful insights. Maybe share a few of your own threads illustrating your involvement in the hobby.
All of this helps other forum users feel more at ease with working with you. It's been my experience that graphics printers here that are not vested arcade hobbyists have a tough time with forum members. I'm not sure if it's a trust issue or what. I suspect more it's a community issue. Some folks feel that if you're an arcade hobbyist, you'll appreciate the degree to which we like our artwork to be 'just so.'
I, for one, am not afraid to shop out to other folks for the work I need. I don't mind spreading my money around. I'm OK with trying new folks a few times to see what they can do. Others, you might get a colder shoulder at first until people see what you can do for us.
I offer you 1 valuable piece of advice: STAY IN COMMUNICATION. Others have crashed and burned here at the KLOV forums when they haven't maintained steady, reliable communication with their clients. If you act with integrity, you will be rewarded with lots of work from eager hobbyists. If you flake out on follow ups, you will be crucified here. It's brutal.
I have some projects I need done. I'll shoot you an email and we'll talk.
