I kind of agree with this notion, within reason. We are a group that mostly wants to preserve these games and I would be ticked if the person bought it and then parted it out, but I don't care if he put it up for sale elsewhere as a whole and made money off it. Just my $.02.

Yeah... I agree... but that doesn't make it any less of a douche maneuver. Wait at least a week or two... there is a degree of "respect" that should be given to fellow KLOVians (and others)...especially when given a kickass deal like Kalan gave the guy...

Hell, I bought I juke 2 months ago and decided within days it was too much of a project for me... I decided to hold off listing it for sale on the local CL for a month or two... that reminds me... it's about time to post that bad boy up.

I'd agree. Unfortunately much of the local arcade scene here has evolved into this. I'd guess most of the locals know what I'm talking about.

It was me!

i got the game from Kalen whom i like and respect. i got it to play then trade or sale as i remember playing and loving this game as a kid.

well i got it home home. kids came out to play neither like it expected that then i play it well i finish it all the way around 2 times without losing a guy on the 3rd lap i kill my guys off from bordem. what the hell how did i love this game as a kid!

so i posted it on cl and a few other sites for 395 knowing i will get lowballed as always so i always list things for a few hundred more then i would take, so all those games are really 200ea if anyone wants them 5 games 1000 and i would toss in a bunch of pcbs i have laying around

sorry if this offends anyone but many games come in and out of my place. some i have offered for free just to not see them anymore a member in here picked up 4 cabs from me last week for free there were also 3 more sitting there he said me may comeback and get.

anyways i have enjoyed buying selling and trading in here and the help for sure.

just wanted to clear the air.

I bought a Ms pacman game for a friend in SD even tho it wasn't working 100% it was in such condition cab wise. I gave him an extra 50.

I bought an NBA Jam game cheap. It was in parts but I got the nickle tour and great stories. I gave him a Space Ace marquee for free.

I bought a non working galaga game in riverside. I keep in touch with him becuase he wants to build something later on. I will either show him how to mame or build him a 60 in 1. He Buys the parts. We put it together. He buys the pizza and beer.

I bought another galaga. If he gets that local converted dead DK machine machine. I will give him a hand and show him how to convert back into a DK machine. I did show him how to replace the micro swtiches on the DDR extreme machine since I was there. I should have stayed there a Little longer to show him how to adjust the screen but time was not permitting.

Gee I bought from craiglist. I must be one of those Low ballers.. laughs...

Jesus Christ. The game was sold for $100. He wanted $100. He didnt ask $395, but he could.

He chose to sell it. To a KLOVER yes, but im sure Kalan, who knows paul well didnt think it was going into pauls personal collection.

I dont see Kalan complaining, but as usual, there are a few people who care about others more than than they should..

Agreed. The person who bought this Vanguard and re-selling IS LIVING LIFE FOR THEM AND NOBODY ELSE also. You two have something in common.

The difference is,.nobody is pointing your deals out,.and critisizing you. Hes doing his own thing, which effects nobody but him, and there are others who dont like it.

Someone felt the need to bring this thread up and point out the "flipping" thing. Unnecessary.
