This PCB appears to be in good condition, though it looks like someone may have jumpered it at one time (not sure if that was factory or not). The tag says Stratovox, but I don't see any Taito markings on the PCB. The PCB appears to be manufactured by Sun Electronics.

At any rate, would like to get $37.50 for it shipped.

FS: Route 16 Untested!

That's Route 16, not Stratovox.

Stratovox was Taito.

I had sorta figured it wasn't Stratovox when I saw the Sun Electronics logo on the PCB, but I couldn't figure out why the OP would have tagged it with a Stratovox tag.

Was Route 16 a Stratovox clone? I have never played either.

CHECK THAT ... Just looked them both up on KLOV and they were nothing alike. Guess the OP was a little senile!

Nope. False. Stratovox was PUBLISHED by Taito, but DEVELOPED by SUN.

Hardcore proof:

Stratovox, known in Japan as Speak & Rescue (スピーク&レスキュー), is an arcade
fixed shooter developed by Sun Electronics and published by Taito in 1980. It is the
first video game to feature voice synthesis.

It's sad that our own KLOV/VAPS doesn't even give proper credit to SUN: https://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=9799

Sir, this thread is more than 9 years old

I'm not trying to encourage necro-bumping... or gloating...

but...

That PCB is on my workbench at the moment. I've pulled several EPROMs, and it's definitely Stratovox code. The edge connector is different from Taito Stratovox, so I'm going to have to reverse engineer the pinout to test it...
