This one is what I call a diamond in the rough. I have done the hard part for you and got it working . Now it needs a little cosmetic TLC and you can have yourself a nice Tron.
The good:
New switcher and adapter. I had these in my garage for awhile and decided to use them as the original PS was bad. I am normally not a fan of switchers, but the adapter from Wiz's workshop makes it easy to install and works well. Everything works and I have both the back doors for the machine.
The shroud art is in great shape and the MCR art in the back is not cracked. The front of the game around the coin door has not been drilled and is in great shape . The Coin door itself is in nice shape and worth repainting. The motherboard has new ribbon cables from Bob Roberts.
The new adapter, switcher, and ribbon cables alone are worth about $85
The bad:
The cabinet has some damage, not severe and not beyond repair. The side art is in bad shape. So is the overlay and it needs a marquee. The joystick has been replaced with a black one. There are a couple places where the t-molding does not want to stay in.
With a new overlay and marquee this would be a nice looking machine. This machine is worthy of a full restore or would look decent with a partial restore.
Asking $450
locals get preference.
After seeing what some non-working project Trons are going for I think the price is fair.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the coin mechs are gone and the wiring and some parts on the coin door are cut/missing.
