Man, when I read "kit" I was hoping it had the cpo and stickers with it... I'd jump on it in a heartbeat.

????

do you have the kick button harness? and the audio patch cable?. cause from my experance with this machine. I have the same kit but hae discovered just slapping the harness dosent let kick work. (much to my dissapointment.) =(

The kick harness is the third thing on his list...

lol yea just noticed lol

damned cold has me half outta my mind loololol just noticed that. but also still needs to be pointed out not just hook to jamma and go..
much to my own dissapointment. cause that damned seprate kick.. why would they do that anyhow ?? like old pc software proprietary type set up? yea. and I wish it did. I know you can mod the main cconnection on the jamma and yea make it work.. I just think this is also one hell of a game. running off a dvd and some of the best graphics I've ever seen from a arcade machine. so its a great game.. =)

Capcom, Konami, Sega, and I am sure many others did it as well. If I had to guess I'd say that they felt it was more likely that the route operator would stick with boards within the same "family" instead of rewiring the new kick harnesses. BTW, I have found the parts to build the kick harness you need if you are interested send me a PM.

i have a tekken one with a reg jamma that controls the punch and a exstra harnes that does the kick its only 4 buttons will this work on it if so im very interested thanks ROn

People, that kick harness is NOT a big deal. It's five wires you could easily solder yourself. :)

im saying mine has a kick harness is there a place to plug it in on this board? or will i have to solder them onto the jamma , i have very good soldering skills but am a noob to arcade stuff (and spelling) lol thanks Ron

Where the kick harness plugs in will be a few pins. Each pin is for the extra four kick buttons, and one for right stereo, I think. The ground can just be taken from the jamma. It was a very easy mod for me to do. :)
