I have an original GCI Red Alert cabinet in pretty good shape to trade or sell.

The cab was 'converted' (if you could call it that) into a Galaga cabinet.
The person did the following:

-Painted over all of the cab with light green house paint

-Painted over the original near perfect marquee (on the outer side, not the artwork side) with black paint then glued a printout of the Galaga marquee on top of it.

-Covered the control panel with some nonsensical 'Video' overlay. It's red and says 'Video'. That's it.

Whoever did this conversion must have been crazy. But, we do have the following in our favor:

-the cab still has all the original GCI tags and markings on the back
-the marquee (on the inside) looks great
-the original bezel is here and looks great
-the control panel has not been cut or drilled. (they used the left/right buttons from Red Alert in place of a joystick for Galaga).
-coin door and mechs are also present.

What I want:
I want to get a Galaga cabinet to put my internal parts in. I would swap this out for a empty Galaga shell if anyone has one in the NoVA area. Maybe someone wants to restore a Red Alert, I don't know.
Failing that I guess I'd need cash for this. I will sell and ship the marquee and bezel separate from the cab if necessary. Same with the control panel.
Pics tomorrow

pics!

Here are some pics. Note the light green color of the cab. Marquee is included with the cab, I removed it to check and see if I could clean it off easily.
