FS: Street Fighter II Champion Edition Arcade Game Coin-op

Yeah dude, don't be like the majority of the Neo-Geo.com guys. :D

Man and I had to read my reality check response twice just to make sure how I came off.
I don't want to be a know it all or the price police either.

We all sign up on this site, and none of us have more or less right to be here than the other. It doesn't say anywhere that you can't sign up to sell something in the for sale section. This guy has just as much right to be here as the guy complaining that he's here.

Why in THE HELL would he contribute to any discussion, when people jump down his throat and call him a jackass for having the audacity to attempt to sell something he owns in the for sale section?

An apology is warranted, in my opinion.

Now that you mention it, I didn't even notice the control panel until now. You're right, it's really offset. Weird.

This is a typical price for a machine in that condition in Canada. Arcade games are REALLY expensive for some reasons here. The price I paid for my cabs would make the average klovers cry, but its pretty much the best deals I could find, that is, if I could find any.

The market is completely dry, and it does not help that idiots are converting whats left into multicades and selling them for 1500-2000. The OP's price is completly decent for a game of that era in this condition, especially for a classic like SF2.

Um, which part of Canada are you from ... ?

From my neck of the wood ( Ottawa, Canada ) prices are nowhere near that,
and many of my fellow Canadian collectors have echoed what others have said
about this game...

As for a dry market , I guess you're not looking in the right spots....

If he did spend alittle time here before posting his IMMACULATE arcade machine for sale we woundn't be having this conservation in the first place. He's probably know better.
It's just funny throwing around the words IMMACULATE, PRIVATE OWNER and a $1000.00 price tag on a poorly converted SFII. It's got a control panel with the CPO cut down small, rusty bolts, the buttons are in a god awful place making the game hard to play, the bezel is cut down really small since it has the wrong size monitor for the cabinet installed, the marquee is also cut down, it's for a bigger cabinet as well. It's painted black and don't even have any side art for jebus sake.

To someone that doesn't care about a really screwed up control panel.

Seriously that's not the worst Capcom 6 CP I've seen.

If it was sold for the asking price the More Power 2U. Proves all of the haters here wrong.

He doesn't frequent the collecting community, obviously. He probably didn't know, or was repeating what was told to him when they sold it to him.

I hope he got good money out of it. I actually enjoy when people are successful.

Entirely not true, plenty of auctions to go to and plenty of SF cabs I've seen on CL/Kijiji recently for FAR less than this. A user on another forum he posted this on, recently sold a MINT HS5 with Turbo in it for $550.

This is even less true for where you are, there are TONS of games to be had in Quebec and the east side of Ontario near you.
