Just a heads up, the value is nowhere near $1000. Not trying to price police, just telling it as it is before the flaming begins.

It looks to be in nice condition. With that said, you're looking at a $300-350 game right there. The board is worth maybe $40, monitor $150, everything else for change. If you want more than that, try ebay or craigslist. Good luck with your sale though.

lt looks in nice shape but there are some odd things about this cab that make me think it's a conversion and or not an actual Dynamo. (correct shipping cab from Capcom during that time)

The speaker cutouts are not there and there's one singular center grill instead. They come mono but oddly they are mono with one speaker on one side but with cutouts for stereo sound.

The Bezel seems cut a little too close to the boarder. On closer inspection I realize that this may be a HS1 that is converted to take a 25" monitor which is why the Bezel is of odd alignment. There's no base on the bottom but the CP looks bigger than the HS1.

The Control Panel doesn't have the centerline of the punch and kick buttons in line with the joystick. By CE they had corrected the control panels and started making sure that it was centered. Some of the early SF2:WW cabs had the top row (punch) centered with the joystick. It's playable but not prefered. This example shown has the joystick too high and the buttons too loo. This screams of a conversion to me. It looks like a Dynamo HS5 but for some reason I see clues that it's not. I also don't know why they didn't apply the whole CPO to the whole CP. It's only the control area and they avoided the wrap.

Conversions are worth less sadly. Dynamo factory kits aren't worth much either. Maybe someone will want a 19" cab with a 25" monitor stuffed in there. I would check how they handled the back cause it really shouldn't fit.

A very nice HS5 cab can probably get $500~ depending on what kit is applied to it and how green your customer is.

SF2:WW is very common and playable but it's so easy to get others board $40
SF2:CE is also very common and only has 4 more playable characters $45
SF2T:HF is the best of the CPS1 games and is still only worth about $50

CPS2 boards are typically $50-150 depending on which variant and family of fighting series for SF.

Naomi SF games boards Probably $200 for the board set.
CPS3 board sets are $100-$500 depending on which variant of SF3 you have on there kit art etc.

My best guess is that this is worth $300-500 depending on your customer and the actual condition of the machine/board etc on CL

Here you won't get more than $300 which is my best guess.

Not trying to price police but give you MHO based on what I have for seen sale, have paid for and seen sold on here.

Someone did an imaculate HS1 restore of SF2:WW and they sold it for $500. Piano black paint etc... all new reprinted art. They did a great job.

That's probably in Canadian dollars. The price in US dollars would be, um, $975.

This is a typical price for a machine in that condition in Canada. Arcade games are REALLY expensive for some reasons here. The price I paid for my cabs would make the average klovers cry, but its pretty much the best deals I could find, that is, if I could find any.

The market is completely dry, and it does not help that idiots are converting whats left into multicades and selling them for 1500-2000. The OP's price is completly decent for a game of that era in this condition, especially for a classic like SF2.

Man, sucks for Canadians. Would it be cheaper to have something decently priced from the U.S. shipped to Canada or it usually comes out to about the same or more?

Thanks for the reality check.

I have a dozen SF2 CPS1 boards in my garage that I'm sorting out what works and what's for sale. Crazy how things are so different in Canada.

Good luck on the sale just don't focus on KLOV as guys here won't spend that kind of money on SF2.

If that's a normal price for up in Canada, just allow me to say GLAD I DON'T LIVE IN CANADA. Yikes that's expensive. Nice cab, but that could be had down here for a third less....

No its just another jackass that only comes on here to sell and thinks a collector will pay a price bacause another jackass told him hes sitting on gold. From a collector stand point he will be lucky to get 350$. I would never pay over 350$ for a mint Street Fighter 2. They are just so ready available

Note to seller: Im sure you might be a nice guy, Im just getting tired of people just signing up to sell stuff and think they are sitting on gold.

Interesting that he took the time to register for a username but didn't take the time to figure out the ACTUAL value of what he was/is selling.

It won't sell for $1000 but it makes for great "discussion". :)

I don't know if you read the earlier posts, but apparently $1000 is not too crazy of a price in Canada. But hey, I'm American so I can't say if that's true or false. :)

I thinks it crazy and i'm Canadian!! I got a mint street fighter 2 ce in a dyanmo hs-5 for about $300! But this price is not surpising in Canada, since somebody asked If I wanted a Golden tee in mk2 cabinet for $3000 lol.

That's pretty rude, man. No need to call the guy a jackass just because he's trying to sell something.

Yes I know its rude. Its also rude to jump on here just to try and make a quick buck. Yes I sell stuff on here but at least on contribute my projects and findings to the forum and dont just use this site for my own personal gain.

I am not an arcade expert and started this off higher than I expected to get, I am willing to go to the $600 level if that seems reasonable for an immaculate condition machine. Please let me know if anyone has interest, I am willing to work on the price - I am looking for the right person who wants this specific arcade.

It's not like anyone here is stupid enough to pay that. If nothing else, this is great to have just for a chuckle from time-to-time. You don't have to call people names and take it personally. This is a public forum.

That said.....

I got almost all my games, around 25 all together, for real good prices. The most I paid was $200 for a Dynamo and the rest were in the 50 to 100 range. I see games up here for good prices, just tonight on kijiji there is a 2 cabinet sitdown Sega Rally listed at $750, nothing wrong with that for a 2 player driver.

As for the converted SFII that's for sale, I took one look at it and first thing I noticed is the horrible control panel layout. Man that layout is the shit, it's so damn uncomfortable trying to play SFII like that, it's not normal. I played a cab like that once and it sucked.

Not sure why you'd say it was only in a private collection when it's clearly a bad conversion.

List it on kijiji where people won't know the difference and good luck.

You will never get 600$ on this site much less 400$ if that. Keep on moving and find some idiot willing to pay that. I'm sure if you throw it on craigslist some one will bite
