Looking to sell my Star Wars upright. I alread have an ESB...and am looking to make some room and have a few dollars to put towards finishing the basement / other toys. Pics on the craigslist posting. Located in Fredericksburg VA. Everything works. It has the WG6100 in it. Nice picture. Cabinet is in nice shape. $700 firm for KLOV.

Thanks

I shipped my Empire Strikes Back from across the country (CA to VA) and it arrived in good shape. I had to reset all of the internal connectors.. but it all worked and arrived in nice shape. At the time, I could not find and ESB board for less then $350... so I bought the whole game and shipped it...since I got a really good deal on it. Shipping was in the $400 range with NAVL.

As far as shipping this game.. personally I would not do it. Star Wars is a fairly common game and by the time you add on a few hundred dollars for shipping, I would think it would not be worth it and you could find one locally. I would always prefer to pick a game up in person and make sure it all works. The vector games seem to be a little more delicate as well.

Three hours away for me, I just don't have the money.

maybe if I let the car go late I can get it, then when they repo the car and I lose my job I can sit home collect unemployment and play Star Wars all day.......:D

Hey... 16 hours is *nothing*... now go get it!!! :D (just kidding ;))

I bow to the master.....

That, and I can't justify spending $700. Its a case of "its worth it", but like a Ferrari, I can't justify buying it.

MajorHavoc call me or send me a PM and let me know if your getting this. He lives about 15 minutes from me. I need to see if you can bring me something and take something back with you.

If anyone interacts with Brian regularly, tap him on the shoulder and ask him to contact me:

I have sent him a PM and left messages for him at home and work this weekend about picking up this game. He might just be away for the weekend but I didn't want him to think I was ignoring his desire to get the game out of his space.

Thanks!

Just $5k? I was going to offer bdn103 twice that anyway, but you spoke up first.

I do hope you get tired of it, though. Just look up this thread when you do.

So, the short version is I picked this game up and then in spite of warnings from Brian about the rollers making it hard to load/unload the cab I ended up dropping the cab off the back of the pickup! OMFG! I was so upset I just put the cab in my garage and went to bed. It would have crushed me if a lot was destroyed.

So, the next night I opened it up and everything looked OK except the neck board had come off the tube. I plugged it in and checked all the connectors. I disconnected the monitor and fired up the game to hear "Red 5 Standing By". YAY! So then I plugged in the monitor and fired it up. Success! Everything works. The only damage definitely caused by the drop is that the speaker/marquee light sled popped it's holder piece and slid into the back of the cab. I fixed that and found the top of the cab had separated so I glued that together too.

Star Wars is fun!
