I still have a bunch of these. I suppose I really need to put them up on eBay, but I've been too lazy (and I really hate putting stuff on eBay).

I just designed some sling protectors for RFM too. I should have them in a few days. I didn't go nuts this time, so I'll only have a few sets to sell. If you'd like a set send me an email or PM to reserve one.

RFM protectors

I have 5 sets of RFM slingshot protectors available. They came out nice, but if I run them again I'm going to make a couple simple changes to make the installation a bit easier.
Special price on these RFM protectors is $12 shipped, or $25 shipped for both SWE1 and RFM protectors.

The fact that you can't really see it is a good thing!
The protector is a piece of clear impact-resistant plastic that goes underneath the slingshot plastic and protects it from ball hits along the corners and exposed edge. The protector is slightly larger (I like to make mine hardly noticeable) than the artwork plastic so that it will take most (if not all) of the force from a ball strike.

Just saw this SWE1 for sale post (nice looking HUO pin BTW!), and he's taken a nice pic of what the slingshot looks like from the factory. Note how the ugly over-sized fender washer doesn't protect the end of the plastic:

One good hit to the end of that plastic and she's a goner....

Yes, quite different. Each protector is designed based on the shape of the game's slingshot plastics.
I've put you on the list for RFM protectors.

I was going to take some new pics of the bare protectors and start a new thread, but I haven't got around to it yet. Anyway, the new RFM sling protectors are ready. With the new ones, you don't have to unplug the UFO light wires to install them.
