Ill try this again and hope i stumbled into the right section of the forum.....My friend who doesnt have internet is trying to sell his star wars cockpit arcade game. Its it good shape. It had been in his uncles storage for years till he passed. My friend owns a billiard/arcade game company and replaced a couple fuses and the system works just fine. His uncle originally purches this and a pinball machine from an arcade that was going out of business. We live in north east indiana. Ill have some video footage of the machine and my friend playing it soon if youd like to see it. [email protected] with any questions.

thanks

scott

im no expert on this game, id like to make it a fair price for both whoever buys it as well as my friend. Not looking for top dollar or anything but I also dont want to short change him. Maybe some of you could tell me if that is a fair price or not.

Find out what kind of monitor is in it...

It appears to have an 18" monitor if measured diagonal like a tv....its a 1983 build. No water damage at all. Stickers and all look brand new. Inside the machine is extremely clean as well. It appears other then a fuse or two its all original. Doesnt seem to be any lables on the monitor itself. Triad is written on the back of the picture tube and on some wiring harness. Ive got 5 people wanting to purchase this unit at 1200 and another friendly individual informed me that the game itself is proboboly worth around 2500 to 3500 dollars. Ill have video footage ill be able to email shortly of the console and the machine working and being played. Again at this point im not trying to be greedy but id also like to get a fair price so please email me if your interested and what you would be willing to pay for it. Thanks for your time and your help.

I liked this better when you posted this in the wrong forum and we were communicating via email. I had a feeling it would escalate to this level in no time. *sigh*

also to be extremly upfront, there is a piece of maybe partical board that surrounds the monitor itself. From what my friend tells me it was originally stapled in the upper left corner, and that staple has pulled loose. He used a piece of fishing line to secure the particle board in place. He tells me that even when you open the machine up its almost impossible to tell that the fishing line is there. Again i just wanted to let you all know about this so there were no suprises.

sorry ill remove this listing wasnt trying to start any trouble just trying to move this game at a fair price for both parties.

You should do what you want but really need to do some research (IMHO). Things tend to get ugly here when "bidding" is mentioned on the forum. Just pointing that out. Again, do what you think is best. Just a friendly recommendation to consider ebay or support a forum member and use Chase The Chuckwagon.

Who would do that? Oh, someone who doesn't have the $1200 but wanted the game, or someone that is too cheap to pay shipping.
