being honest - game play is weak... but since I have an original Spy Hunter I wanted to put this one side by side in my collection... but with 100 games in my collection - some stuff has to go... I restored this one - looks good - played it etc - now its time to go... but thanks I did make it look nice again

You're right -- that was rude of him.

That game looks pristine!

thanks... about a year ago I just decided I was gonna restore this one... not really sure why - just did. It came out nice... I still have never put it side by side with my Spy Hunter for a picture - guess I should do that sometime huh?

I agree that the cab looks nice. But, I'm entitled to my opinion. So someone comes in and edits my post because I have an opinion? I'll toss the term 'rude' right back at ya!

If there's someone out there who wants it, they're likely to buy it. The general concencus is that everyone wants the first SH over the sequel. Facts are facts: the 2nd SH isn't very popular to most collectors, but not all.

You're completely missing the point, Dan.

This isn't a "Hey, what do you think of my Spy Hunter 2 restoration?" thread.

It's a for-sale thread.

And dropping by and throwing bombs in this guy's for-sale thread is a big-time douche move on your part.

Not to mention that it's explicitly forbidden by the rules here because of past abuses.

+1

I dont know why somemone would not understand that adding a post to my FOR SALE thread that says "why would someone want this - this game blows" does not HELP me sell the game.

Then again I dont know why people feel the need in the first place.... it's like hmmm.... what can I say on this thread... oh I KNOW.... "This game blows" submit! There I feel better now... How easily people are amused.

I've read both points and will take back what I had said. I'm sorry, and I hope the game sells to someone looking for it. I admit I didn't pick the right thread to shoot a game down, I apologize.

Technically you sorta did that yourself...

being honest - game play is weak...

Just sayin.

It's fine - I'm over it...

I dont think its any secret that Spy Hunter is regarded as one of the worst sequels in video game history... but even so I know there are some people out there that would like to have one in their collection. For me its not even about gameplay... just that I had an opportunity to pick one up a few years ago - and decided to pull the trigger just so that I could have the Part I and Part II in my collection. After owning it for a while... I've had my fun with it - now let someone else enjoy it.

To be truthful - my wife and I lead a local youth group and I had it on free play there for a year and a half - they were the ones that played it.

It's rare, that's for sure. Saw it once when I was 11 or 12 and haven't seen one in person since!
