I've decided to put my Space Ace '91 Leland up for sale. It works, but it is a semi project because the laser disk player is having some difficulties. The game will boot up as normal, enter the attract mode, and coin up and play. It plays normal at first, but after the player warms up, it has difficulty seeking and finding the tracks correctly. At first, the scene will play in black-and-white for about one second, and then play normally. After about five or 10 minutes, the game will stop playing. So, it boots up normal, coins up normal, starts playing normal, but eventually gives up.

Some of the good things though, it has a newish (2004) TV 19 inch model in it, has new graphics at the marquee and Control Panel, and switching power supplies. The play side of the disc looks really good, and doesn't seem to have any bit rot on it. Also, I'm throwing in a Dragon's Lair II control panel overlay that fits this cabinet.

I'm asking $200 for the game. It's located in Summerville South Carolina and shipping is available to the 48 US.

There are more pictures to follow, and a YouTube video that demonstrates the video on the game.

Please feel free to get in touch anytime by p.m. or by email.

Thanks!

Paging 30fathomdave... 30fathomdave, come in, please...

If this were local (or even SoCal) I'd already be prepping the couch for me to sleep on tonight- though I'm really looking for a DL conversion.

$200 is a steal, man.

Thought I'd bump this one time. I've had several requests to part it out, but I'm trying to keep it whole so that a working game isn't destroyed.

I'll give it until the end of the week, then I'll take the parts offers.

Buy it whole! Save it while you still can! :)

Wow, someone save this! I would if the big three factors were not an issue... distance, space and money. $200 is a really good deal!

I would buy this but I'm waaaaay up here in NoVA. How much for delivery?

Actually, come to think of it, maybe you should just sell this as a kit? It's not a dedicated cab anyway.
You could sell the boards, player, disc, marquee, wiring, and Cp and ship that much easier in a box than waiting for someone to pick it up local.

I know someone who has a New cab and can make it look like a space ace.
I know I gave him my Nos space ace CPO art work. It was his grail.
He made a cab for a dragon's lair but know he has gotten a complete dragon's lair. He got this hand built cab waiting for the rest of the parts for a space ace.

If your willing to ship and want to see your parts live in a new cab and your other deal fall through. Just PM me.

Byy parting it out your are morely likely going to help get a dedicated (or DL conversion) SA running again. You offer the kit for $200+ actual shipping and I bet it is sold in 5 minutes. Sell the Bezerk cab for $50 and you are ahead and someone else is super happy they get to finish their SA.
