FS Silk Screened Repro Missile Command Panels

back to the top and how are these going to hold up to the wear and tear we see on the old panels? any need to do anything further to keep it in mint condition once we receive them? i always worry about trackball games and somebody wearing a ring scratching a new overlay or paint.

The scuffing was why we chose to go the fine texture route. Census was that it woudl wear better. As for art hold up, time will tell. Personally I think it will last a long time as these are most likely only going to be home use machines that they are going on. They wont see the abuse & elements that the original panels saw.

I can ask the screener what they suggest for longevity.

Perhaps Rich (TOG) can chime in on how the inks will wear. I'd think they would be pretty durable with todays technologies.

Or maybe Chris can tell us how his panel is wearing after the play its gotten so far....

I understand if it's a secret, but can you tell exactly what type of ink or paint is being used for the colors?

I dont actually know. Once I get Rich's test screen and color swatches I can possibly find out what brand of inks are used after my screener matches them. They are going to be silk screened with inks, no spray paint or anything.

There are only a few days left to get the sale price and a chance to win a free panel. Must pay before 6pm Central 04/18 to qualify for panel and receive intro discount.

These are in production right now!

Funny, when you look at the final list who is supporting the project....not who you think when you go throguh the thread....:D

Can't wait!
