Well, here it is!
I will be doing a small limited run of Missile Command Upright Control Panels with the artwork screend right on a brand new reproduciton panel. No CPO here! Just like Atari did it back in the day.
The panel will include the hinge, die cut and powder coated a fine texture black. Rich from TOG will be providing me with art files and color swatches for a quiality reproduction. This is where is all started http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=175338
Now for the details. Due to the great cost involved, I will have to do a presale order on this. Panels will be an introductory $120 each plus $22 shipping which includes a custom box. I checked rates via UPS ground the East & West coast based on 14lbs & took the average plus the cost of the box. Pick up is Free as always. International will have to PM me for a shipping rate. (Ive quoted a few, most were $86 to Europe) I've created a new email and PayPal account to keep all the metal parts seperate from my personal account. Paypal payments to [email protected] Be sure you put your KLOV name in the comments and what payment is for.
I'd like to get 25 presold to make this work right. From the time I say go, expect 4-6weeks due to the screening. I will update on a regular basis.
I'll give the pre-order until April 18th @6pm Central time. If the minimum is met before hand, I will start the run early. After the 18th, the panel will go to $140 plus $22 shipping.
If for some reason the minimum is not met, I'll refund all monies (I dont see it not being met)
KLOV'er Special:
I'd like to have a little fun with this. We are gonna play "I'm thinking of a number between 1 & 500" I am going to "think" of a number and send it to Rich @TOG for honesty. What do you get for guessing the number you ask? 1 FREE MC panel shipped to you at my expense! International will have to pay shipping, sorry. If no one guesses the exact number, I will take the closest. If there is more than one person with the correct number guess or guesses are equally close to my number (either way, hi or low)..those people will get the panel for 1/2 price. For example: if my number were "100" and 2 people guessed 99 & 101, both would get a half price panel but will need to pay shipping.
Must "pay to play" = means you must have placed a preorder & paid to qualify/count. After you have sent your payment, post in this thread "payment sent" & your number guess. Only 1 guess per person. More than one, makes both invalid. Number Guesses can be made until the end of the presale. I will post the winner(s) then. Winner(s) will get appropriate refund.
I will check & verify payments recieved and post/maintain a master list here.
