FS: SID in Southwest MI

SID was the first game I ever bought because it has sentimental value to me. Granted I'm still horrible at it, but the 8-1 kit makes it much more appealing. When I picked up my last one I had to drive all the way to Tennessee to grab it because none were available around me. Now it seems in the last year they are popping up everywhere. Nice looking machine, and good luck with your sale.

no love for space invaders. classic game but gets boring rather quickly.

Get the 8 in 1 kit. I have no idea how people can think these games are 'boring'. So it's not as immediately engaging as playing 147 hours of Call of Doody or Doom vs Resident Evil VII or whatever co-op/online console game you young people are playing. With the SI series (and Asteroids series) you need only to step up to the machine, coin it up and press player 1. First you'll be immersed in the bass line and then be amazed at the floating screen over the blacklight background as you battle wave after wave of relentless aliens trying to kill you and every one you love. It's an experience meant to grab you for 5 minutes at a time and it keeps you coming back. What do you guys do when you finish your latest 1000 hour RPG? Sell it for $5 to Funco and you're on to the next throw-away title. Not so with SI/SID/Lunar Rescue. I am glad I was born when I was, as I love these simple, classic games.

I think I have tears in my eyes. I couldn't have said it better. I too prefer the easy to learn and difficult to master type games.

Sid

Nice looking game!! I love my SI, play it all the time. Love the marquee lights, picture, sound. Just wish I was better at it!! But I am getting there. I will be investing in that multi game rom soon.

If I had the extra scratch, I'd have it next to my SI. Dual bass thumps!!
