I have a G08 monitor.. I took it out of a game many years ago and put it on a shelf.. has been safe there since...Complete

From what I remember.. the tube glowed.. but I would be willing to be it doesn't work perfect when you plug it in

Ill take offers now for about the next 10 days.. if pics are needed.. Won't be till next weekend. I don't know what the going price is for one of these..

thanks

I would ask that you give this link a read:

While many here have no problems with taking offers(and giving offers) on something. Others, including myself, feel it sully's the website by running an impromptu auction that is not ruled or governed by any set of guidelines to ensure fairness above the table. While it isn't my place to ask you to remove, I would think that the moderator would eventually chime in on these auctions. At the very least, the topic should be changed from FS to FA. And at best, a price should just be set as to what you want for your item. I'm not trying to bust your balls here, but "Make Offer" posts are becoming a pet peeve of mine. So I thought I would say +1 to the previous poster with the EBAY remark.

I agree. Just throw out a price with an obo suffix and go from there.

working 150-200

non working 50-100

Next time you have one to sell, and it's working, hit me up and I will send you $175 right away.
Deal?

I know this is the "KLOV bargain basement swap meet" and all but < $200 for a working color vector (even a GO-8)?
C'mon... you're never gonna find one for $150... especially 'working'. Not sure where you developed that price range.
Certainly not representative of the 'average' selling prices.

If you guys don't like it when someone asks for an offer, don't make one. It's that simple. The reason people don't like it is because the advantage goes to the seller. As a buyer, figure out what it's worth to you, make the offer and hope it's accepted.

I agree. No problem with asking for offers. I get annoyed when people list their ebay auctions with link and all in the for sale section, but that isn't the case here. I do think the advantage is to the buyer here though as the seller doesn't seem to know what the item is worth or at least isn't letting on that he knows. As far as I can tell two offers where made, albeit non-serious ones. Of course I'm guessing they will become serious offers if the seller was so inclined to accept. :)

I don't understand why these guys hate it and crap on every thread where it come up. Just freaking ignore it. If everyone hates it like you guys think, then the guy won't get any money for his item. Everything will work itself out. Quit pissing in everybody's cereal.

I'm guessing you were chiming in with agreement to my post? I certainly didn't piss in his cereal and I said asking for offers was fine with me.

This is NOT an auction. It is best offer. How hard is that for you guys to understand? Why would a mod step in? The only reason I could see them stepping in is to tell you guys to get off of all these seller's backs. I have seen thousands of best offer posts on the 5 or 6 other forums that I visit, and I have never once seen this kind of reaction to it. Have you ever picked up the classified ads in your local paper? Is every best offer post an auction? No, they are not auctions. This is getting ridiculous.

Seeing as this is "best offer". Does that mean I buy if after 10 days nobody offers higher than my $15.01? :)
