FS:Seawolf

the conclusion to this thread!

Yes, it was an old thread, but guess what? I actually picked up the game from the klov member for free! True story! The boards were listed on eBay for sale, but it would of been intact if anyone had responded to go and get the seawolf, despite the "dates/thread". Boards sold before I could get there, the eBay buyer only wanted the boards, too much to freight and crate. So what did I get? A totally working Seawolf cab, except for boards. Even got to test the cabinet with the soon to mail boards...oh yeah, did I mention I got the cabinet for freeeeeee?!?!?!?! So the moral of the story? Don't let old threads/posts discourage you! Follow ups are always key in knowing the "real" status of a thread/post. Had only any of us responded sooner...

You didn't even have to trade any folded movie posters??

Fun story and congrats on the pick up.
On another note, I hope this doesn't start a trend of reviving old dead threads ;)

I've been away from arcade stuff this year, but getting back into it. I do have (I think) at least 2 boardsets that should be restorable.

The PITA with Seawolf is that they're practically a pinball board in that they drive about a dozen or so lights (explosion lights and torpedo indicators). I've been working on a test rig using actual lightboxes from an old seawolf so i can test/fix these faster, but I think I came up with a better idea I'm going to try after the holidays.

I will let you know!
