These have both been tested and were stored as working extra PCB's, but I don't have the games around any longer to test them again. Both were working when pulled, so if you buy one and for some reason it does not work I will refund your money. Check my feedback.

Looking to get $60 each or $100.00 for the pair.

It doesn't say Stern or Konami on it anywhere, so maybe we will need to bring in an "expert".

That looks exactly like the picture I posted, except mine doesn't have an adaptor attached where the wiring harness connects and I don't have that crazy black box hanging off the side.

Can someone post a pic of a known Stern Scramble?

Just for the record, the board doesn't need to have that crappy Konatec MPU system in order for it to be "Konami". Konami made Scramble boards with and without that encryption.
The board for sale here doesn't have any of the typical Stern markings. Is it a bootleg? Possibly, but I doubt it. It looks well made... none of the usual indications of a cheaply made bootleg. And the ROM labels are in the style of those seen on other Konami boards....

I would buy it if I was sure it is a Konami...

I'm afraid Dokert is mistaken. As I said before, no all Konami Scramble boards use the Konatec MPU. And you'll also find the Konatec used in early Stern games, so having the black box does not insure you have a board running the Konami version either. They stopped using the Konatec because it didn't serve it's purpose... it didn't make any sense to continue using it.

Now that I know you're looking for one, I'll keep an eye out for a Konami Scramble.

You can see why this has been elusive then. :)

Finding one with original Konami ROMs on it (with unmolested labels, which I assume is what you need for TG to accept it) will be difficult. All legit boards in the US are going to be Stern licensed, and boards from other countries are going to be predominantly bootlegs. Best bet is probably dealing with Japanese collectors.

Bump. I finally got around to pulling my scramble pcb out due to this thread + anticipation of slava's scramble hs save kit. My board looks exactly like this one. No stern or konami markings anywhere...and no black box. Fired the pcb up using a konami classic jamma adapter, and....no mention of either stern or konami on bootup, attract, playing a game or at the hs table. What do you guys think? How would you know if it's a stern or konami? Do they use the same pinout? Would there be mention onscreen somewhere in attract or differences in gameplay?

The fuel drains much faster in the Stern version.

ie) By about the 3rd or 4th loop in the Stern version you cannot miss a fuel tank (save for maybe a few areas).
