Finally have this one all finished. Restored Tempest, in a brand new cnc cut cabinet, made from a combination of White melamine, black melamine, and birch plywood. Here's what's new:
Cabinet
Sideart
CPO
Marquee Overlay
Wheels
T-molding
Powercord
Most of the fasteners
Leg levelers + plates
weatherstrip on CP
6100 has a great picture, with low burn, completely rebuilt by Jpopson on here. Coin door, control panel, marquee panel, and upper bezel retainer all stripped and refinished. Spinner was completely disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt. Spins easy with no noise, works fantastic. White melamine with black vinyl on the insides was used for the game sides so it matched the original color scheme. the only things i can point out as not being perfect:
very small scuff in the vinyl on the left inside of the game, near the bezel.
Bezel is not perfect, but 95 % nice.
Test switch doesn't work, still toying with it.
Artwork had a few very small air bubbles on left side, about 1 foot off the ground, and a few inches from the back. Not noticable at all unless you lean down and look right at it.
Cardboard bezel behind plexi bezel was torn, used a sharpie to touch it up. cannot be seen at all through the plexi.
this game is located in northwest ohio, zip is 43457. not really looking for trades at this time, price is 1300.00 Pm me if your interested. Jpopson and rturbo on here have both seen this machine in person, and can vouch for how nice it is. Here's some pics, and a link to my photobucket account with about 60 + pictures of it! Thanks for looking, Brett
