Silver Control Panels and Silver Monitor Bezel for the upright cab.

Original Sega parts have been restored by an Approved Mercedes Car Bodyshop. Quality is superb. All the cigarette burns, cracks, names and swastikas scratched into the plastic have been repaired to a very high standard.

Colour matched to the original using a Spectro-photometer.

See my post in the "Restorations, Cabinets and Cosmetics" section for a more detailed description of the process and for pictures.

PM me for further details and more pictures.

Restoration work wasn't cheap, so EACH PIECE will be £165 GBP.
Postage / packing extra.

I have 2 CP's available and 1 bezel. Being offered to the community here first before going on ebay.

Serious enquiries only please - no dreamers or timewasters.

That's about US$250 each, or $500 for the two pieces of plastic. Considering that $500 is around what a complete and working OutRun upright game sells for, don't you think this is very overpriced?

It's pretty subjective - depends if you want mint plastics on your cab.
I did on my cab and I felt it was worth the outlay.

I'm not making anything on these - just getting back the cost of the restoration, plus the original purchase price of the plastics.

damn, this makes me realize how lucky I am that I got a working Turbo Outrun with a nice bezel for $125!

Good luck with the sale. I used Novus 1 on my bezel and it really cleaned up the plastic nicely.

Agreed....I think that is too much. I know these are hard to find in good condition, but thats alot dough.

Hey guys....I was the one who purchased the LAST new old stock Sega Outrun stuff directly from Sega...I bought FIVE Monitor Bezels and FIVE Control panels...and they were $150 EACH!! AND...this was like 15 years ago!!!! So $250 is not off target here! (And I used them all) Todd from TNT Amusements

Thanks for chipping in there Todd.

I bought my NOS bezel from TNT for $200, and this one was used as the basis for the colour matching. So it must have been one of the five!

Even the NOS one needed a re-spray. NOS parts still pick up the odd mark and scratch.

I'll agree the price certainly isn't cheap, but if you want NOS / restored quality examples of these hard to find parts...........

Photos of these parts are in the "Restoration, cabinets and Cosmetics" section, where I have posted a few. If anyone wants some more or larger pictures, PM me.

I have heard of people talking about boards being worth more than the complete game, but have never heard of the plastic being worth more. Good Luck!

While I agree perfection costs $$...

...I can't even get any interest on a decent condition complete functioning machine for $100US cheaper than your plastics.

Good luck with the sale.

Keroppi: Don't lose heart with the sale of your OutRun cab! Sure it might take a while for the right buyer to come along, but it's a great game that everyone remembers!

It's just so iconic of the 1980's!
