HI. I'm making a few Taito cabs on the CNC for some locals and will have enough parts to make one, possibly two more while i'm at it if anyone is in need of one. This will be the wood parts only, you'll need your own donor hardware from an original cabinet to assemble it. If you're in the orlando area i'd be glad to assemble the cabinet for you.

PM if interested.

Heya.. send me a PM on the pricing. I think I realized today that I can do a completely assembled cabinet with new hardware. The new hardware isn't a 100% exact match to the original but it's close. If you have trashed cabs that you can take the hardware out of and send my way to assemble the per cab price will be a touch less, probably about 25 bucks more per cab if I have to purchase all new bolts and brackets etc to finish it off.

Here's a couple photos of a completed one (don't hammer me on the bolt heads i know they are rusty, i'll polish them up later:).

Here's the construction of them, bolt for bolt like the originals and all the joints come out nice and flush:

The one thing I really cannot replace is the monitor bezel glass slides that are a wierd custom plastic i've never seen before so a set of those is virtually required to use this cabinet. All the grilles such as the speaker and the dust one in the bottom of the cab all transfer and the necessary T-nuts for the power block are there too.

This particular cab's destiny is to be come a Zookeeper for a local friend.

Those look great so far!!! Are you using tatio coin doors????

if so i need one

Wow that looks super nice. Taito cabs are usually pretty beat up. Nice job Brian.

Forget the cabinet, how much for all that empty garage space??!??

Just kidding, sort of.....

The cabinet looks great.

I have an JK kit waiting for a cab and I was hoping to have a Taito cab made for my EA kit. Too bad I didn't see this post back in December. :001_ssad:

A multi Taito setup in a new cabinet, freshly stenciled, would be awesome...

Great to see your work and that someone is able to make these.

Are CNC files cross-compatable from machine to machine? Due to the fact when these are built, they mainly stay local due to shipping, it would be cool to have a repository of CNC files (if it works that way) that people could perhaps take to a local shop to run off a cab. Doubt I will ever find a Q*bert local so it would be awesome to be able to make one up from scratch.
