Each one is hand-refurbished. I clean them, polish them, rubber feet replaced with NOS, repaint bezels, buff and polish the switches, replace cables, scrape the crap out of the RF port, scrub the boards with alchohol, lubricate the switch mechanisms, reseat chips, replace necessary switches and parts, and resolder parts if needed. These are some of the best you can get on the market, other places sell these without games for $70-100 plus shipping!

The joysticks have new metal dome contacts and NOS shafts, and the orange trim is repainted if needes or applicable (later black joysticks).

I have varying levels of clickiness for domes, please specify or they will have mushy by default..
-Mushy (like the original) I have 2 types of these. I have (unlimited) NOS PCBs with half circle domes (left) and one PCB with new high quality 4-legged switches (right), get it while you can! Edit: 2 USED SOLD! Please excuse the labels, those are for my reference.

-Semi click (Slightly audible) 2 avalible. One has the top laminate heat shrunk to the PCB to prevent the metal domes from moving around with new high quality triangular domes, the other modified NOS made to order.
-Medium click (medium) 1 avalible, get it while you can!
-High click (loud, almost feels like microswitches) Approx. 20 avalible. They are modified NOS and made to order.

All prices are not including shipping.

What is an upgraded joystick?

The one shown in the pic is a standard atari brand 2600 joystick. Do they have the replacement domes and wires solder directly to the circuit board so they make better contact?

-Jake

They have new metal domes and upgraded shafts so that they can be over flexed and not break.
I have varying levels of clickiness;
Mushy (like the original)
Semi click (Slightly audible)
Medium click (medium)
High click (very loud, almost like microswitches)

Whoever added overpriced as a tag... does not understand the work in these. These take lots of money on my part, too!

Madaracs: Heavy Sixer 1 joystick 1 game - $60
mxracer47: Light Sixer 2 joysticks and 10 games - $81
TheShanMan: 2 joysticks - $26

Update... Awating shipping quotes.

I'm sure many people have one of these in a closet or attic (I know I do). Would you offer a refurbishing service for people that provide you one that they already own? Just an idea.

maybe you could post some pictures of restoration in process or detail the steps you take in working on these. maybe some before and after pics. i am curious and i am sure other people are, and it might help explain to some of the complainers why the prices you charge are justified for the effort you put into them...

ps: systems look great! i think the price is reasonable, people pay $50 for one game on a new system!!!
