FS OT: Asus Eee PC 1000H 10.1" Netbook - SF Bay Area

I was going to keep my old netbook as an extra MAME machine, but I really don't need it.

10.1" Asus Eee PC 1000H Netbook (Black)
Asus product page

Quick specs:
- Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz
- Windows XP Home Edition
- 2GB RAM (upgraded from 1GB)
- 80GB hard drive
- 1.3 MP camera
- Bluetooth
- 3 USB ports
- VGA out
- SD card reader

It's a couple of years old, but still works great and I've kept it in really good condition. The battery still holds a decent charge though I usually have it plugged in so I don't know exactly how long. I can use it tonight and time it if need be.

As far as performance, here is my thread where I used it to demonstrate Hyperspin MAME.

It will come with an original carrying case and I have the original box and packaging for it as well. Of course, I plan to reformat it to factory settings so you can have a clean setup.

I'll take pictures during lunch and update it this afternoon.

$200 shipped or $180 pick-up.

Pictures! Sorry for the quality. Took quick shots with my phone camera during lunch. I can take better or more detailed pictures using my DSLR upon request.

I tried to load Mac OSX on the 1000H I had and it was a nightmare. I could get it to boot one or two times but after that it wouldnt boot and would crash to a kernal panic.

Wished it worked but it didnt.

FWIW, the 1000H is a really nice Netbook. Runs Win7 pretty well too.

Yeah, it's served me well the past couple of years. I just upgraded to a newer Eee PC. Asus is a great company with good products. I actually heard Apple uses Asus hardware in their Macs.
