FS or Trade: Putting Challenge II Arcade Putting Simulator

Greetings All,

After many months of TLC my Putting Challenge II needs a new home.

My family and I love the game but it is time to move on.

It is in perfect working order and works with quarters or there is a free credit button hidden underneath the game.

The game retails for $5,600.

Be sure to click on the youtube video of me playing the game at the bottom of this post.

The game is a perfect addition for a bar, restaurant, family game room, or man cave.

I am asking $3,900 (cash, cashiers check, or usps money order) or trade for a classic car (must be running and from 1945-1955) or a modern pinball machine (Funhouse Pinball preferred).

The game is available for pickup in Fargo, ND.

Be sure to take a look at the pictures and PM me with any questions.

Thank you.

You may have a better chance selling it to an operator, if you can find one interested in it. I just can't see a hobbyist in here shelling out almost four grand for that. Well, if it was something like a Monster Bash, that would be a different story. :)

Also, keep in mind that just because a game retails for $x,xxx, you may not get anywhere near that cost, depending upon what the game is.

Again, I'd recommend trying to find an operator who would want it for a route. Sadly, I don't think it would be in too much demand this time of year. You may have better luck come late winter/early spring.

Thanks for the message Ripweade. I will see if I can find a local operator. I am not sure who to look for in town, but I will search them out.

Thanks again.

Look in the yellow pages for something like "amusement." There should be a heading for the operators or suppliers and that could lead you to where you are looking.

I just had another thought. How about a local mini-golf business or golfing business? You could sell them on the part that they could make money with it during the winter months or when it's raining. Just make sure to push that they can make money with it and they should earn their cost back. ;-)

This is very cool and fun looking, but I agree, it's better suited for an op instead of people on here due to the price. I wish you the best of luck!

If this is the one where the hydraulics raise and lower the putting surface, then the last time I saw one of these it was on craigslist for free fully working. Went to the free section after he couldn't sell it for a couple hundred dollars. Definitely going to be better for an op or a golf store like the other guys have chimed in with.

That is a beautiful restoration and a fun game. The issue for most folks in a home-use environment is that it has a huge footprint. I had one of these at one time and I got rid of it simply due to the fact that it took up the room of 3 pins (and the hydraulics are noisy as hell, even with proper maintenance and lubrication).
