FS or Trade: Discs of Tron - Original Dedicated Stand up

I have for sale or trade an original Discs of Tron dedicated stand up machine. I purchased this game as a project. The guy told me it worked before he moved it from his old house to his new house. It did not work when I purchased it and I have done nothing to it to see what is wrong with it besides plugging it in and nothing happened. After there was no sign of life I took out the board and noticed that the power supply is loose in the bottom and looks like when the previous owner moved the game the power supply bumped into the PCB and broke loose a resistor. The cabinet is strong and solid and shows no signs of water damage. There is some corrosion on the power supply which leads me to believe that the game was in a moist or damp area at one time. It was also very dusty when I purchased it and took it out of a garage. One of the light fixtures is missing the side of the fixture in the back of the cabinet. The controls and wiring harness are in good condition and the monitor looks to be in good original condition. What I do know is that everything is there and it is an original dedicated stand up Discs of Tron not a chopped environmental cabinet. I have too many games and have decided I don't have the time or energy for this project. This is a great original dedicated candidate for a restoration. I am looking for a Qbert stand up, Star Wars and a Red Baron and would consider working out a fair trade. I will be listing the game on EBay if someone doesnt make me a fair offer or trade. I can send pictures if anyone is interested.

Steve... that's a nice looking game. I see your CL posts and I spend most weekdays in EP so... someday, we're gonna do business. I never played DOT so I have no interest in that one. I wish you luck. You seem very patient. :)

Where are all the Chimps?

I traded my EDOT by posting it here when I first started KLOVing. I got so much grief for not listing a price, and it generated a great deal of poop slinging.

I ended up trading my EDOT for a working SW upright. no ampliphone, but pretty nice, but not after a great deal of poo was thrown in my direction.

Where are the chimps now?

Seriously good luck with the sale. What is one of these project machines in an UR worth... I know what a EDOT in reasonable condition with boards will trade for, but not a regular upright.

If you give klovers an idea of what you want they are more likely to respond with serious offers.

Discs of Tron - DOT

I decided to put the DOT up for sale on Ebay since know one came forward with a trade for a machine that I was looking for. Thanks for the interest!
