Anyone interested in a SEGA Hot Rod? I just picked it up, so I haven't troubleshooted it much. I haven't even opened the back door to look at the monitor chassis. I did plug it in and nothing comes on the screen. There is a red light on the PCB. I tried coining it up and nothing. Tried hitting the test button...and nothing. This thing is HUGE! PM me if you are interested in this thing. I can get it to Woodland, CA (or Seattle) at the end of the month.

According to VAPs, there were 10 people looking for this game. I don't recognize any of the people though. Must have been a while ago. I don't think I have ever heard of this game.

This game does use a medium res monitor so if you part it out that might be worth something...

Absolutely, that is what I was thinking. Just wanted to see if someone wanted it whole first. I may try to put a new switcher in it in the next day or two to see if by chance the PWR supply is bad.

These are so cool, you don't see them much, the game is very fun, you get some crazy collectors who want them from time to time, none of those collectors are near the people selling them (in my experience).

Bump from another guy who is trying to get rid of a Hot Rod (on the opposite coast, so we aren't competing!)

This game was a favorite when I went to Green Tree Mall in Clarksville, IN. It was right in the middle of the Aladdin's Castle. Always a line to play it. Another free bump

I'll get it to a shipping terminal near Sac if you want! :)

I had an interested party from Colorado on my Hot Rod. I got a quote from NAVL, and even though these are slightly larger/heavier, they ship for the base rate. It costs no more to ship Hot Rod than any other arcade piece.

Food for thought. ;)
