FS: Nintendo sign - factory fiber optic animated store display
Nintendo Fiber Optic Sign - Animated Store Display
Model #NESM36F - Double sided logo artwork
Has factory loops to hang or sits nicely on a shelf.
$400/SHIPPED obo or it goes to ebay which I feel will bring the same amount or more.
32" Wide - 12" Height - 6" Depth
Inside the magic happens with a motor running a lighted disc, which colors and animates the fiber optic lights on the front of the sign. The sign changes colors between Red and white repeating the sparkly animation effect every few seconds. The backside of the sign is Nintendo logo only and does not light up. The backside has a few light scratches and scuffs pictured (exaggerated) but very clean and presentable. This is a metal framed display sign. 100% working and 100% of all the fiber optics function property.
Most of these M36 factory display signs have the text "World of" light up. This one does not have the "World of Nintendo" script only the Nintendo logo. This sign is slimmer, cleaner, takes up less space and visually is much more appealing to me.
I've owned this sign for many years, its one of my last Nintendo artifacts from my NES collecting days! It is in very good shape physically, electronically and mechanically!
I have examined the sign very close and it is in near mint / like new condition and working great. Its has always been well taken care of and worked perfect all these years for me. It should last a lifetime other than a bulb replacement every few years under regular use.
I enjoyed this animated sign for years in my gameroom above my Mario Bros. coin-op video arcade machine. The Mario Bros. arcade has been sold, now the sign is up for grabs!
This sign is very heavy near 30 lbs. and oversized. I will wrap very well and sturdy so it arrives safely and in the same condition as it left my collection. It will be wrapped like Fort Knox and packaged to the best of my ability with attention to detail.
Here is a video of the actual sign in action, my camera focus was tricked by the fiber optics but it give you a good idea of what it looks like while the sign is lit-up.

Think I'm full of shit on what this is worth? Think I'm smoking seriously good stuff? I paid about what I'm asking back in the day, and here's ebay link of a recent completed listing for same brand, fiberoptic nes sign, different script - closed/sold @ $550 PLUS $75/shipping.
