Here is a factory Nintendo NEON store sign. This sign can be hung in store window, or wall mounted like I've done. It looks great mounted near the games. These signs are very hard to come by and I searched a looooong time to find it, so I don't want to give it away. I just sold two of my games and am moving, so I'm selling some things off. I would like to get $300 for it. If it doesn't sell. I will not be sad to keep it. LOL!

Check out the pics of it hanging by my games! Cooool Glow!

PM me if interested. Of course there will need to be substantial shipping to ensure that this doesn't get wasted on the way to your house.

I actually just bought a red one, so I'm not interested, so sorry if this post rubs you the wrong way. But I was wondering if you'd be able to check the Nintendo product number for me. It would be on the back on a sticker and should be M##@@ or something similar. I've never seen the blue one so have no Idea if its in the same family M37 as the ones I've seen and have.

The sign is on the wall mounted still as of now, but I do remember there being a product number on the back like that.

Love it. My wife got me my red one for Christmas a couple of years ago. Got it for a steal on ebay.

I vote keep it, but good luck with the sale.

New sign pics

As requested here are some more shots of the sign. Thanks for your interest!

Caveat emptor

I paid $300 for this Nintendo sign and it arrived totally pulverized. Why? The seller packed it loose -- literally bouncing around -- within a wooden frame inside a cardboard box with NO PADDING WHATSOEVER to keep the neon tubing from smashing against the hard 2x4 frame during transit. The sign itself was wrapped with only two layers of thin plastic.

Why someone would go to all the trouble of building a custom wood frame -- which required a drill to disassemble -- and then use no bubble wrap or foam of any kind to protect the delicate sign itself is beyond my comprehension.

Attached are some pics :(

The seller also did not reply to PMs after the fact so I will be leaving appropriate feedback if I am not contacted. If I get a retaliatory neg, this is why.

Totally sucks.

I hope it was insured. That really sucks.

That sucks! Did you pay via paypal? If so, fight it.... Was it insured? If so, get reimbursed.... Seller should take care of that, $300 I would assume it would be insured...

I don't know if it was insured as they haven't replied to my PMs...

Honestly, though, it isn't USPS' fault. I don't know if I'd feel comfortable having them pay on account of this persons BS packing job. No padding. Neon tubing. Seriously.

Man, that is serious packaging fail. I'm so sorry to hear that a perfectly good Nintendo neon sign went to waste. I hope you're able to resolve it with the seller.

Lesson learned, I suppose. For anything of that value that is super fragile, you always need to make sure you get insurance included and even go as far as to ask the seller how he intends to package and ship it. Not to play devil's advocate, but who knows if the sign was already broken and he shipped it that way? Regardless, I'm sure you'll be more careful in the future when dealing with expensive and fragile pieces.

I was lucky I guess. I got my Nintendo neon sign on eBay and actually didn't know how he'd ship it, but I did have insurance and delivery confirmation via USPS. He wrapped it completely with bubble wrap and then filled the entire box to the brim with packaging peanuts. That's how you do it. I don't know what your guy was thinking trying to build a wooden frame.

Again, sorry to hear about this and I hope you get your money back.

Funny you mention that. I am usually a total psycho about dictating how things are to be packed... but I figured it wouldn't be necessary with this crowd. Lesson definitely learned. I also bought a red one off eBay and it arrived safe and sound.

As for the damage, I'm pretty sure it occurred in transit as the breaks are right where the wood supports are and the powdered tubing is naturally scattered inside the packaging. Considering the way it was packed that did cross my mind... which is why I did some forensics.

PC10 (Pete) is a good guy, and an asset to this community. I am certain he didn't want this to happen, as he loves Nintendo products. It was obviously an accident, and I am sure he will take care of it.

So before yall go and grab the pitch forks and torches give Pete a chance to make things right...

Fair enough, but how on earth could you not bubble wrap it or something similar? If i shipped a 2x4 id wrap it in B. wrap first lol, let a alone a neon sign. HUGE mistake was made, and a nice nintendo sign is now gone :(

Are you sure this is Pete? I thought Pete was pc10builder. They just happen to be from the same state.

I wasn't grabbing a pitch fork. I was stating that sometimes deals can turn into scams, I didn't mean to direct it at PC10. This is just a case of a deal gone bad due to bad packaging, plain and simple.

I'm sure PC10 thought he had done a good job packing without thinking it through. This is unforunate for both parties. Lesson learned on getting covered as a buyer and lesson learned to pack better as a seller.

Looks like I was dooped into thinking it was Pete...too funny. Similar KLOV name and lives in the same state. pc10cuilder is the real McCoy. Sorry guys; but anyway give this "Pete look-alike" a chance to make things right too. If he doesn't make it right, then go and grab the forks and torches and I'll help crucify'em.
