hello,

How does this one work ?
Is this like the 100 in 1 where there is almost no delay when you select a game or more like the 138 in 1 where the board has to flash the generic MVS cart resulting in long wait everytimes you select a game?

Is this the type that has the seperate control board (138-in-1)? Or is it more like the 111-in-1 and 120-in-1 brand without the seperate control board?

i'll know this week
probably like the 138 in 1
but not sure
it has king of the monsters now:)

I really wish they would stay away from that stupid addon.. the 111-in-1 cart is still the superior product..no loading time, no dumb addon.

I may be wrong, but I didn't see a number of games here that are in the 138 in 1. I DID see a bunch of variations of the KOF series, however. I didn't see League Bowling or any of the older (early) games listed. The list was kind of hard to read the way the names were mixed together, but I didn't see King of Monsters and many of the other early titles which (I THINK) are in some of the other multi boards...

I sorted Nixs list into alphabetical order for easier reference. Kept the numbers at the beginning in case the cart's menu isn't sortable.

It looks like the 120-in-1, 138-in-1, and 150-in-1 all have some unique games on them. The 150-in-1 adds a lot of the early NeoGeo games that haven't been on any previous multicarts but it's missing some of the newer games that are on the 120 and 138 carts.

List

This one has Samurai Shodown 1. I think I want to redo my list to match up with Billy Pitt's list that has the games in order of number (release) vs the Wikipedia entries which aren't as complete. I think I would keep the links to the Wikipedia articles though.

Here is Billy Pitt's list of every Neo Geo game made:

I never got an answer back in an old thread on this. Can you sort and remove unwanted games from the menu on 120 in 1? Or this new 150 in 1?

The 138 allows you to turn games off and has screenshots, but you have to have the extra board on the jamma connector. The 120 doesn't allow you to turn off games and no screenshots, but also it doesn't have the extra board (which is a plus).

We don't know anything about the 150 yet.

Thanks.

Is there a way we can communicate to the makers of these fine carts that we don't care about the hacks and would rather they not be there? No reason to add a bunch of hack roms to fluff the # of games.

Wouldn't that be awesome?! What I would rather do is hack one of their carts and replace the roms in it. That way we can load in what we want. I wish they would make one with a SD card slot, like those NDS carts.

I think the problem is that these carts are made with the MAME gamer in mind. They are meant for people that want an all-in-one solution and just want "LOTZA GAMEZ" rather than the originals that were on the system.

I can understand that with the Blue Elf, but these are all MVS games just some of them are hacked versions to increase the game count.

If this was on the Neo-Geo forums this thread would already have death threats in it. ;)
