Ok it's up on Ebay now...if you were interested but didn't like my price, see if you can get it for what you want to pay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/260941969322

Black Turbo Duo system with AC Adapter, AV cable and one Duo Pad. Working perfectly, in good cosmetic condition but not perfect as there are a few scratches on it here and there.

Unless otherwise stated, they are in their original case...but NONE have their outer boxes.

Hu Card Games:

Bomberman 93 (Keith Courage Spine, a few scratches on card label)
China Warrior
Keith Courage
Ninja Spirit (Incorrect case, no hu-card sleeve)
Silent Debuggers (Impossamole Spine)
TV Sports Hockey

CD Games: (NONE have back jewel artwork inserts)

Gate of Thunder 3 in 1 with Bonk's Games (All 3 manuals, disc is in Excellent condition)
It Came From The Desert (Minor scratches on disc, plays fine)
Shape Shifter (Minor scratches on disc, plays fine)
The Legend of Heroes - Dragon Slayer (No Map, minor scratches on disc, plays fine)
Ys Book I & II (A few VERY minor scratches on disc surface, plays fine)

Any scratches on discs are minor enough to easily be taken out with a good quality disc buffer. There isn't a shop with one anywhere local.

Man I always wanted one of these. Turbo was one of my favorite systems. Had the console version. Hope you get some good cash out of this lot.

Free Bump!

Oops sorry was thinking of a turbo express. The handheld one.

Well free bump anyways!

The Turbo was always kind of a mystery to me and my friends as kids. We had heard about it, that it was supposed to be "better than Nintendo and Sega," but we never actually met someone who had played it, or even seen it in the stores.

From what I have seen, this is a great deal. Turbo Duo systems sell for $300 when working fully, and this one comes with one of the best Turbochip games (Ninja Spirit) and one of the Best CD games (Y's). Most turbochip games start at $10-$15, so the math says this is a great deal. It is pretty rare to see that many CD games in a system sale too.

I was into TurboGrafx collecting for a bit and I love my duo. A kid down the street had one growing up and cashed it in for a Genesis, so I got some exposure to it during the day (hence why I wanted it a few years ago). It's a neat odd system that just didn't catch on.

The Turbo Express was also a very cool idea for the time.

Free Bump from an older Turbo fan.

Pictures added(I know took me a bit).

I've got a video I'm uploading to Youtube to show the most important part...it working as it should. Will add to my first post when it's done.

Cripes, they're still selling for that? :)

I've got a regular TG with the docking station CD-add-on thingy...was planning on selling off most of my console stuff soon, I don't use it at all, but have a soft spot for the Turbo...good to know it's worth keeping, even if it's not the awesome Duos. :)

(disclaimer: I really don't believe posting this link would threaten any potential sale in the op, however, if the mods or the OP feel that it may, feel free to delete)

Nope...it's a niche item. As for your link, it won't sell for that...they've gone for less complete like that on Ebay, that asking price is ridiculous, including $117 for shipping lol
Turbo Express units aren't worth much from what I've seen, and the guy can't even provide anything but a stock picture he's taken from the internet...that ISN'T his picture.

I'm giving this another couple days at best, and then it's going on Ebay...but it's going with no reserve, free shipping and a $0.99 starting bid. It sells for what it sells for at that point.

once upon a time I was trying to make a deal for a boxed like new one of these. The guy wanted $500 which was about what an Xbox 360 went for at the time. $1K is way too much if that's what a like brand new boxed one goes for.

That would be interesting, post a link to the auction when you list it.

Will do, but after packing it all up and quoting shipping to California...shipping will only be free within Canada.
It's almost $50(probably would be after taxes) to ship to Cali, but only $34 to ship to NY, so I'll be putting a flat rate of $25 for shipping to the US on the auction. WHereas it's only like $15 to send it to Vancouver. I'll eat the difference wherever it goes.
