I have a tested working NBA Jam TE with sound board, and sound board wiring, no pot (I hooked one up to test sound). All roms show green on boot, will need a new cmos battery from sitting. **SOLD**

I also have the following PCBs (all will need a new cmos batt):

1. NBA Jam TE (Tested working) no sound board or wiring **SOLD**
2. *****
3. NBA Jam rom UJ14 red on boot $30 shipped
4. Sound Board (Appears to be working) for NBA Jam $20 shipped (Has ribbon cable, no power cable)

How hard is it to hook up a pot? Is it just a simple solder of a cheap pot to the right place on the board?

Simple, I saw it in a youtube vid... I just used two wires with clips and an old 50k pot I had, you could just solder two wires to the two pins and to the pot, done for less than $5!

you can get the complete sound pot w/ harness and molex for 7.50 from bob :D (and do it right).

This will work, right?

the third wire is just a ground/shield wire. not needed in nba Jam. the connector on that pot does not look correct. i believe it is pins 2 and 4 that have to be connected to sides of the pot. i just soldered a 1k resistor in there and it works great because i have a volume adjuster pot in my jamma cabinet. works great and the resistor was around $0.50

I got it wrong. The one I picked is for older Williams games but I thought they were interchangable. Apparently not!

Search his page for NBA and then the entry below that for $7.50 is a choice of the three cables that go to that sound board: data, power, or volume control
